I assume they'll be filming series 3 and 4 quite quickly before the kids get too old?

Why?

To combat any physical changes in the kids....

Would look a bit weird if a 12 year old starts looking more like a 15/16 year old ....Bran Stark style...

A year passed between the events of season 1 and 2.  They could keep in them in "real time". Each season deals with an incident - no reason not to space the incidents out.

Well I was going to put Scouse to be honest. Im English by birth, unfortunately. Though thanks for reminding me of that little point. Got some great players coming through t replace the old guard, so we'll be ok. Would have been fine if we had an easy group like England ;D

Hmmm - I guess. Makes more sense if they spread it over a couple of years.

Watched episode 7 today. Got the feeling watching it that it was possibly laying the foundations for a spinoff show. I'd imagine if there was a positive reception to the episode, we'd see further of them.

I was more annoyed at another British accent. Every show has to have one

Just watched Ep. 7. Wasn’t as bad as I feared but did feel like it was setting up something new for next or future seasons.

Finished it all now, thought it was fantastic and they are 2/2 now.

Looking forward to the next one.

I found season 2 a bit meh. They should have kept it at one season I think. Do every series need to go on for 6 seasons plus?  Still a good watch, would recommend it to anyone.
And Nancy Wheeler is unbelievably hot.

Yeah it was pretty inevitable, not sure how many seasons they can run with this show though.

In the end, same really. I enjoyed a few and wanted to rush through it. It struck me how I felt when I'd finished it and a lad in work was pondering whether to stay with it beyond episode 4 and my response was "you won't really miss much if you don't".
I wish I felt differently.

I enjoyed both seasons to be honest, think the Duffer Brothers have done well so made up there will be a season 3.

Just a question, did 99% of American kids in the 1980's have those fookin basin heads that Will has? Although there is a couple of mullets in there too haha!  ;D

PS - Nancy Wheeler, helllllllllllllllllllllo!

Half way through season 1 & 2 binge to take advantage of free Netflix month.

Finding it's always getting bleaker each episode. Given the setting and era was thinking more funny stuff would happen making more like Gremlins or The Goonies but perhaps a bit darker.  Think it's starting to put me off. Needs more moments to make you laugh as balance. Maybe have the kids fighting back more often.

Just watched the whole thing over three days, on the recommendation of my 19 year old son. Really enjoyed S1 and the most of S2, particularly episodes 6 and 8. Bizarre that the 2 best episodes sandwich the afore mentioned E7, but it didn't ruin it for me due to the binge. I hope they don't drag it on too long and ruin it.

I had never watched this show before, but finally binged all the episodes this month, ending last night. What a great show! :wellin Can't wait for the new season. I wasn't sure I'd like it since I could be a grandad to some of the characters, but wow the writing is sensational.

So that this bump isn't a complete waste, here's an interview I thought you'd like (though Fallon is such an annoying interviewer with his fake laughs). The young lady is so quiet on Stranger Things but has quite an endearing personality here! Didn't realize she wasn't born in the US.
