Its a very good disc but not a monster album like Back in Black or Highway to Hell but there aren´t many like those around.
Black Ice is better than most of their recent albums (maybe since For those about to rock) in my opinion. Anything goes and Stormy May Day stands out as strongest tracks so far.

Can only second what our swedish friend say. I joined the acdc fan club for 40 usd. Got a code which gave me the backdoor for the official ticket supplier. Two tickets per member. The normal tickets got sold out in 1 hour or something. server crash and phones very busy

ACDC playing in Madison Square Garden pretty soon.  I had an opportunity to buy tickets from a friend last night and passed.  Not a big enough fan. Especially for $107 per ticket.

I looked at the fan club access to tickets again after Swedish_Red's advice, but it doesn't seem as good for the European shows...at least the ones I was looking at.
Yes, you get access to tickets that won't be on general sale, but there will be far more members looking for these tickets than there are tickets available, so in that sense it's the same as general sale...just not as big a gap between those looking tickets and the number available.
If you're a member and don't get one of the member's tickets, you'll be too late to get one through general sale so you're still fucked!

Looking at the UK and Ireland dates, have they left plenty of days in between because they know they will have to put on loads more dates?
They have 3 more dates available for the O2 in London after the set date, 1 or 2 in Dublin, 1 in Manchester and as many as necessary in Birmingham

They also had some awesome 'non-rock' songs - 'Ride On' for example is just a great and very moving song, with Bon Scott at his very, very best.

Have to agree there mon ami, it's easily one of the best tunes he sang.

Anyone here get to the Donington Concert?

Yep, still class that as the greatest concert I've ever seen.  Donington afforded them the set to have the whole shabang, 100ft Rosie inflatable, huge bell, 21 gun salute and thousands of dollars (with Angus' face) pouring out of the central production/amplifier stack tower.  The set was amazing with all their classics played with all of the 100,000 present singin along.  A truly wonderful experience, the best Donington ever, and I'm a veteran of 10 Donington Monsters of Rock festivals.

I'll be on the phone Friday morning, this is one show that I;m not prepared to miss!

Frankly, you'll enjoy the gig more in a 12,000 person venue more than an 80,000.

They definately would sell out one. two?

Very true. It just fucks up the chances of getting hold of a ticket though.

He prebooked them in his local ticketshafter, luckily he's going to be giving one of them to me! ;D

Don't think they'd sell out 2 nights in Croke Park to be honest, and would far rather they did a few nights in a smaller venue anyway.
