The fucking blizzards!?! Jesus mother of fuck.
the answer seem to be pretty good, but the blizzards is a bad decision.
Never even heard of the blizzards, was looking forward to some lizzy
IT'S TURNING LEFT!
From his stupid, ugly, pug-faced, smarmy, poncing, play-acting, Oh-look-at-me greasy hair to his crybaby, stupid, cheating, dirty antics he can fuck off the horrible little poodle faced gazumpadum.
very late decision to take a pair off a lad on toutless.com for the gig in punchestown - hope the sun comes up by then but no matter I'm sure it'll be fun...
Pity about the rain but at least it stopped for a bit when Angus & Co. came on stage. Really liked The Answer too and in fairness The Blizzards gave it their all - it was tough to replace Lizzy at such short notice. The sound for AC/DC was much better than for the support acts and has restored my faith somewhat in outdoor gigs after being disappointed with a few in recent years. Here's hoping it is as good for NIN at Oxegen in a couple of weeks time...
Good gig, pity about how badly organised the public transport was
The thoughts of all those Swedish birds getting their baps out to 'The Jack'........, Jesus!
For us Swedes they are only average
And that's what gets me! I've a few female friends in Gotenberg though, that I should really get over to. Give them some Puss O' Krams!
haha you already know the language so what are you waiting for Honestly go to Brazil or Russia and you will soon forget about Swedish women...no offence to my country as they still are great looking but in those countries its something else!
I'm from Ireland. I can go ANYWHERE in the world and the women will look amazing! Enjoy the gig mate. I've no doubt you will!
....just a plug for those in Sydney. If you want to see Mark Evans, the bassist from the 'classic' ACDC, who was one of Bon Scott's best mates, you can see him (for free) most Saturday afternoon's down at the Sandringham Hotel in Newtown, Sydney. Right near the Flea Market. He has a residency with Dave Tice (another 70's Oz Rock luminary) at the Sandy and it's a great way to spend the afternoon watching the human traffic wander in and out, cold beer in hand with some quality music and banter going on. You can also pigeonhole Evan's for some of his memories of Bon Scott if you are prepared to buy him a beer (or two!)
Cry more you big fanny
Steady...Mike Bassett
Fucking hell how have i missed DC's cover of 'Baby Please Don't Go"Just listening to the Friday Rock show on Real XS in the car and it came on. I was loving the version and thought to myself 'hell this sounds a bit like Bon Scott'. As the track went on i thought 'Hell, this IS Bon Scott'.It's a brilliant cover and one of the best I've ever heard, but I have never heard it on any of the albums I have. Turns out it's on the 1975 Australian only release of 'High Voltage' and also on the Jailbreak EP which i did know about but never got round to buying. The High Voltage album i have has nearly totally different tracks and was for the International release.I have to have this album!!!Who's got either of the Aussie High Voltage (1975) or the Jailbreak EP? Any good?
Hope they keep at it just a little bit longer, they're number one on my concert to do list.
30 years ago this summer they headlined the greatest Monsters of Rock ever, IMHO. Ozzy, Motley Crüe, van Halen, Gary Moore, Y&T, Accept. Just an amazing day!
Love the band since 1980 but they took a slightly different direction.Been fortunate to have seen them 3 times over the years.
