Mate... It's no longer the club that he once supported.
Paul and his dad gave up their season tickets in protest against fat Mike.
How do you think they feel now?

R.I.P Newcastle United  :(

Yeah, I know, I’m just highlighting how bad it is, they’ll never get their club back now. A state like SA will never have to sell up for financial reasons. It’s like a permanent ownership.

Sorry, Paul, I wasn’t implying you’re ok with that.

Right now I'd be exactly like Paul; goodbye to the club I once loved  :(

It's fucking mental man, all of it.

I swear I fell asleep 19 month ago and am having the mother fucker of all crazy dreams here.

Im not overly enamoured with Newcastle fans, the whole ‘working class heroes’ thing, in my opinion, is utter bollocks ( before this) You sir, are a diamond though, you can see this for what it is and this is a club you love, it must be rough and while it probably doesn’t mean much to you, you can hold your head high, fair play mate. Makes you think that this game isnt quite done.

1/2p coins stopped being legal tender at the end of 1984 so that's from before their last title, I started going out around 1987 and could get leathered on less than a tenner though, reckon it would've been around 80p a pint back then

Giroud’s mum’s mate got a vision from God saying don’t go to Everton  ;D

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/oct/12/a-sign-from-heaven-olivier-giroud-on-turning-down-everton-and-his-mbappe-feud

Didn't something similar happen with Lukaku? Sure he said his mum had had some vision that he had to leave Everton

The seat at the back is raised so you can hurl toddlers further.

Not being funny but Whitbreads Bitter was 16p a pint and Heineken was 18p a pint, and Stella (if available) was 21p a pint in 1975, Sefton Arms.
Higsons was a bit cheaper and better beer.
I recall Marston’s Pedigree being 33p a pint by 1978 in Manchester

Higson's was cheaper but better? There wasn't a great deal of choice around mid seventies but Higson's was bottom of the barrel.

Watching that sky overlap thing and I couldn’t believe there was nobody pulling up the Everton fan on them apparently having billions to spend but just couldn’t because of the rules.  I’m pretty sure they could clear Everton’s debt with no penalty and have a company over inflate their sponsorship if there was that much money to spend?

For some reason, they seem to believe that they are in possession of not only Moshilad's billion or so, but Uncle Uzzy's billions too.

Thing is, if they really did have the funds to abuse the rules, they would have done so regardless. Just look around us. Those who have the money and the will to abuse the game, do so with relish and impunity.

If the shite were really as rich as they pray they are, they wouldn't be taking out dodgy loans, wouldn't be in so much debt and wouldn't be scraping around in the dirt for money in order to get the traffic cones moved from one place to another at BMD.

Forever in our shadow on and off the pitch.

Moshiri must rue the day he bought them, squandered half a billion and nothing to show for it in 5 years.

At least they got to see a blue JCB though.
