Yeah, she's clearly been beaten with the ugly stick ... er? You have to understand, I'm unbleivably shallow and a tight top and cleavage is all it takes.

They cut to White Hart Lane yesterday, about Modric, and prefaced it with 'HUGE developments in the Modric saga ... lets get the latest news' and all it was was that he was at White Hart Lane talking to Levy. THEN, this morning, they had a report with a 'Modric Timeline!' about the 'events' of yesterday. The fucking plebs.

Who's the new SSN girl?

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssuuuuuuuuuuuusssss!
I trust the King, but if we lose a few more on the trot now - he may have to step aside, and we have to purchase another manager in the middle of the season. If we are relegated, this could be the end of our ambitions to win any title the next 100 years.

The novelty has worn off a long long time ago. It's more like Newsround these days; you swerve it because it's for kids.

I am not having that. Newsround was a pioneering program and it has a proud history of taking complex stories and pitching them so a child can grasp the concepts. That is incredibly hard to do well. The adult news relies on all sorts of jargon shorthand that is not available to Newsround. At its best Newsround has produced some of the finest journalism from the BBC. And John Craven.

SSN has given Paul Merson's views a wider airing.

I detest this ballbag. The ultimate generic, rent a quote pundit.

Frank however was a top fella. Think he got the chop chop for some racist quote or something along the lines.
http://www.onlinearsenal.com/forums/...hp/t-3768.html

Soccer legend Frank McLintock faced fury last night after branding Tottenham Hotspur as “Ten Little N***ers” — live on TV.

The former Arsenal captain was discussing Saturday’s match between Spurs — who fielded four black players — and his old club.

Suddenly he stunned viewers of Monday’s You’re On Sky Sports phone-in show when he said of the number of axed Spurs managers: “It’s like Ten Little N***ers.”

McLintock, 64, sniggered — and fellow pundit Rodney Marsh chipped in: “Yeah.” The camera then showed both fighting a fit of the giggles.

The gaffe is the most outrageous racist slur on telly since soccer commentator Ron Atkinson, 65, was sacked after calling Chelsea star Marcel Desailly a “f***ing lazy big n***er”.

Anti-racism groups last night slammed McLintock. Piara Powar, director of Kick It Out — which campaigns to eradicate racism in sport — said: “Frank’s language here is wrong and offensive. This is a word repugnant and charged with hate. It’s time broadcasters realised the damage language like this does.”

Agatha Christie’s Ten Little N***ers was famously retitled Ten Little Indians in 1978 after a public outcry

the media always had lots of influence.  :P I was talking about the supposed corruption ring to benefit certain clubs in the UK

no they didn't, there was a time when reporters actually reported whatever news there was to report, I suppose that's why they were called reporters.

With Sky (all news programs) if there isn't any news then they make it up, according to the man who was found dead last night, if you worked for Murdoch then you used whatever means to get a story.
"Football is a simple game based on the giving and taking of passes, of controlling the ball and making yourself available to receive a pass, it is really that simple"

Yeah, apparently AVB is too analytical and therefore must lack passion. Like Rafa. Like Wenger was. They should teach these idiots about Venn diagrams so they can explain the existence of Mourinho, who to be fair to him has both. These are the same nobs who'll tell you that now Wenger is 'showing passion' by jumping up and down instead of sitting emotionless on the bench, he's 'lost it'.
