Collection details :

Liverpool Football Club will be implementing a ticket collection process for the Reds’ UEFA Champions League fixture against Bayern Munich at Allianz Arena on Wednesday March 13, 2019.

The process is part of club’s ongoing commitment to improve the way match tickets are sold and allocated.

Around 250 of the 3,800 ticket allocation will be selected at random and those supporters will be required to collect their tickets from either a designated location in Munich city centre or a location close to the Allianz Arena on the day of the game.

Bayern Munich v Liverpool: Ticket selling details
It is strongly recommended to use the collection point in the city centre to avoid any additional congestion around the stadium. An email and text message will be sent on February 15 to those supporters who are selected to collect their tickets. Full collection details will be sent on March 7. The club will also be taking designated LFC staff from Liverpool to the location to make the process as smooth and quick as possible for supporters.

Please be advised that each individual supporter must collect their own ticket: the supporter collecting their ticket must be the supporter whose details were provided on the online capture form as attending the game, when making the booking. On collection, the following identification will be required:

A copy of the email sent detailing the collection process which will show your collection reference number (this can be shown on your mobile phone).
AND either of the following:

Valid photocard driver's licence.
Valid passport/National Identity Card or CitizenCard, plus proof of address, eg a utility bill within the last six months.
Please also note that if tickets are not collected, the ticket purchase will be cancelled from the supporter’s record with no refund given.

You get free travel in Germany with a match ticket as far as I remember. Be annoying having to pay if club randomly select you

I think Munich is the only club that don't do that actually. Could be wrong but sure I read it somewhere.

Not with Bayern tickets. They are one of the few clubs that don't do the free travel thing.

If they don’t do the collection ballet till March 7th then when are you going to be able to collect them or when will they post them?

They surely can’t post them earlier if the ‘random’ ballot isn’t done till then

Read again.

You get the details on the 7th, you find out if you're collecting on the 15th of Feb.

Anyone know if Bayern may check names on tickets at entry? I'm presuming not. Hoping I can come across a spare, otherwise I'll be eating (veggie) sausages outside, which is fine by me.

People thought Napoli would check but I didn't get checked.

Names won't be written on tickets for this. That's only done for euro aways in Italy as it's Italian law.

I presume the Anfield collection should say Sunday 12th March, not Saturday. So can collect up to KO of the Burnley game.

Has anyone had any luck changing the name between booking and collection of the tickets. The problem I have is never know which two of us can get off work til about week or two before the game. Pretty sure the selling details usually say no changes once booked.

Why can’t the stagger sale, so those with 7 and above matches, then 5 and above etc.

I know you are guaranteed but just more frustrating trying to all get in at once!!

No point in collection if you can name anybody at time of sale - how does that stop touting :butt

The pain with collection / nomination for us is we’ve got lads with their own Roma credit, who obviously want the credit for this in their name, but also lads with 2+ credits not going and offering their tickets to those with only Roma. So they obviously take the guaranteed ticket then need to find some random to potentially take their ticket if they get one.

We've got a similar issue with ours. A couple of lads who normally go, can't make it, so are in guaranteed sale.
We have just shuffled names about, so the ones who should have the tickets have a guaranteed one. Then if they get one in their own name, stick that on someone else's name.

It's not just 20 mins though is it mate, depending on the pick-up location, etc. I need to go to my hotel to check in or pick tickets up first. I know the location can't be fixed to please everyone but it can extend the time by up to a couple of hours. Then you need to catch back up with your mates, etc. It's just a fucking ball ache in a big city, with a big allocation. I can understand it for Augsburg or Sion or something.
I clutch the wire fence until my fingers bleed,
