Huge miss and the miscontrol later from a beautiful pass was really poor. Not really sure how he got the full 90 if i'm honest, disappeared most of the 2nd half

Who the fuck cares. We are trying to win the title. We paid €60m for the guy. He cant control the ball, he cant finish. Sub him asap and bring on Gakpo

The jury is still out to if he’s good enough, and unfortunately it’s starting to look like he’s not the case, but saying he is costing us the title was a bit of a stretch. Diaz and salah, amongst others, have been poor too

Do I think he’s the answer? Honestly no but the scapegoating of him last night wasn’t on

I've said many times over the past couple of years (here and/or IRL), he's great for chance creation volume, but the concern is that his inefficiency makes him ill suited for big games, like a CL final where you're likely to only get one big chance. This has come home to roost in recent weeks, and sadly it seems the pressure has driven his efficiency down even further, to the point where he's a liability. I expect that with a new manager and new season, he'll be racking up good G+A/90 numbers again, but these doubts will resurface at the pointy end of the season.

He can't be considered the first choice when he is routinely missing gilt-edged chances are crucial periods in games. I think he is good enough to be part of the squad but I think we need someone more clinical to start most games.

I can confirm it feels as shit in the morning.

Yep, very hollow feeling. Didn't expect to win the league this season, but didn't expect it all to fall apart like this either.

Sad end to the season and to Klopp’s reign. The players have let him down massively. Hope Slot is up to the challenge but I fear it’s an impossible job for him , some of them players are not good enough or on the way over the hill. Wholesale changes are going to be needed.

We're bringing in Slot because we don't want wholesale changes. It shouldn't be forgotten that we've legitimately challenged for the league till April. There has been a raft of injuries to key players and those key players have been out for months. It would be silly to throw the baby out with the bath water.

;D Eh?
You’d keep a player that is 32, and increasingly looking like a gaping hole in both attack and defence - to spite right wingers? Even if he rekindles his form and starts playing like he gives a minor fuck - that is a very thin reason to burn through 350k a week.

Were also gonna sign Jean-Marc Bosman to piss off the Brexit twats. At least it'll be on a... Free.

I get he's been a hero. But that's a hell of a take.

When I heard no Jota and Gakpo (who been looking better) I knew it would be long evening.
I have zero confidence in Nunez when he is put through on goal now. When he scores when he gets a chance has now changed from relief to surprise.

I know you want rid of Salah you say it every game, while it's true he's not been great people tend to forget he's had an injury as well. I do think people hide in his shadow if we get rid of him, as so many want; others will have to take responsibility.

We were basically fine when he was out. Jota was mostly fit though. The issue with replacing Salah is Jota is so injury prone that you can’t rely on him. And I don’t think Gapko and Diaz will score enough goals
