Charity Shield tickets

Does anyone one know whether for season ticket holders, it will be only 1 ticket per holder? Or maybe more?

Goin on past experience.

1 per ST probably. But will be easy to get hold of as many as you want, so wouldn't worry.

No, they'll leave it until the 7th August to start the sale and hold a ballot.

.....and then hold the ballot, decide who has been successful, send out letters to the unsuccessful ballottees....and then, when the 'successful' ballottees start to believe,  finally cancel the ballot that has already taken place, claim it never occurred anyway and give the tickets to someone else.......and relax.... :)

Nothing on .tv

Hopefully be on sale soon as I'm wanting a couple and I'm expecting to get them on general sale. Need to take this opportunity to get to the Millennium stadium, get to see the mighty reds and should also be a good day out.

In fact, I'll do you all a favor and ban myself from the January transfer window forum if we get anyone other than Etoo.

£40 was mentioned to me last night by my contact but he will confirm this by the weekend - not sure were this falls in the pricing bands (highest ?).

It look like I'm on my own here but I was expecting the highest price to be higher than £40.  I was expecting £50, £40, £30.  Its not the FA cup final but its still a game of football at a massive stadium so wasn't expecting any bigger markdown on the cup final tickets.

Its a glorified friendly!! Wouldnt surprise me the FA trying to rip us off again though. I was fleeced for 65 quid for a cup final ticket, aint gettin fleeced for this.

TT - I wouldn't say £65 for a cup final ticket was being fleeced, especially with the way it went but agree on your comments about the shield being a glorified friendly.

I agree about the glorified friendly but I'll be paying whatever to make sure I get to Cardiff again after missing out on the FA cup final.  I've also booked hotels and told my lad he's coming so £10-20 per ticket won't be putting me off.

Looking now, I think they have updated the directions probably because of my vigorous complaints :)

We will have the Camp Reds on tour flag, probably at the top of the hill (to the right) when you get to the camping - if the car will get up :)

Im afraid it is. They wouldn't pay that in Spain, Italy or Germany. Not a cat in hells chance. But hey they know they can take the piss out of us so why the fuck not. As for the 90 pound tickets, don't get me started on them!! If that was all I could have got I wouldnt have gone in the stadium, I really wouldnt as that is just totally and utterly fuckin scandalous, nothing less.

What next year, fuckin 75 and 100 pound tickets?! For the 65 quid I was expecting some sort of extra e.g. free programme or something, or at least a pint at half time.

I agree but it's the going rate for a high profile, sell out occasion these days - pop/rock concerts for example. I paid £75 each for the mrs and I for Bon Jovi recently - pay it or don't go is the choice  ::)

Supply and demand - it doesn't make it right but until the demand goes, the price will only get higher.

I am sure many who missed out would have willing paid £60 or £90.
