Good shout. I was thinking Xavi but he had a year or two in Qatar at the end didn’t he.

Scott Carson is in there. Didn’t realise he only played 4 games for us (is that League games only?). Mad that one of the 4 (or 5!) was against the might of Juve.

That's probably him.  I was thinking Sinisa Mihaljovic but I think he played for Sampdoria at some stage?

Some of these career arcs are absurd.  How do you go from double European Cup winner with Real Madrid, to Abramovich’s prime Chelsea, via a loan spell at Middlesbrough?

I think he was one of this first post Abramovich signings when they bought the likes of Joe Cole and Glen Johnson. They then loaned him out for a season.

I have been a record transfer fee, participated at the Olympics and lost the final of a major tournament on my club’s home ground. I twice won a country's domestic cup. Those wins came more than a decade apart and were with two different clubs. I've played alongside the following:

Phil Babb
Oussama Assiadi
Fabio Aurelio
Abel Xavier
Fernando Morientes
Michael Bridges
Patrick Kluivert
Luis Figo
Azpilicueta
Nikola Zigic
Nacho Monreal
Joao Moutinho

9 is Neeskens, on account of his playing the one and only match for the South FL Sun, who later became Fort Lauderdale Strikers...

Didn't have much over here to follow, back in the day....
