Just glorious. What a performance, when all eyes were on us too.

Can’t find any faults today. The team turned a tricky fixture into a casual thrashing.

This is a special side.

A big shout out for Matip as well
Very composed, wasn't he.  Looked like he's put on some muscle around the thighs too.  Less cheese-stringy, which will hopefully help with his resilience.

Positive signs.

Great result and solid performance! Top of the shelf stuff from Salah, exactly what we need. Cook got his in deserved karma, sickening way to try and stop one by putting the studs on someone achilles, could have been a terrible injury, should have been a red that.

Anyway, great win and top of the table for now, which is great  ;D

Brilliant today. Great control. Fabinho is going to take our game to another level and it was good to see Lallana come on and look decent.

Salah utterly devastating. Hope he goes mental this month and scores a boat load.

What about Mo Salah looking like he wants to leave in January?  Clearly unhappy and desperate to be elsewhere.

Apparently. ;)

Salah looks happy enough in the post-match interview.

Maybe he was just angry with himself and wanted to score and prove he could.

Job done.

Lovely display. Great to see Salah beginning to terrorise everybody again. Joint top scorer in the league after that hat trick - and what a third goal to top it off. Particularly delighted with Fabinho. He's really settling in to his role now. Like how he releases the ball quickly in a midfield that has been troubled with being a bit too ponderous in the past. Perfect preparation for a tough week coming up. Onwards to Napoli and United.

Very impressive after a tough game just 3 days ago. Brilliant goals by Salah, good allround performance from the rest, nice cameo by Lallana. Special mention to Allison and Van Dijk (again). Matip looked good too, his passing is underrated and a real threat in this kind of game.

We're starting to look good again. Fabinho and Keita look very good in very different ways. Fabinho dominates the midfield in terms of sweeping up everything that comes into his area while Keita is just dazzling on the ball though he's clearly not a wide player. Nevertheless, this is the first week where they've both looked like they are truly beginning to settle and suddenly the team looks better as a result. Promising green shoots in terms of performance but still so much to improve, which is even more tantalising.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

What a day.....

Cruised to a 4-0 win
Top of the league (for now)
10th clean sheet from 16 games
Hat-Trick for Mo
500 games up for Milner

Then Mo gives his MoTM award to Milner for his achievement.

This is a special bunch of lads, people.
Enjoy them while we have them.

We got a bit lucky with the referee decisions today (feels like the first time that has happened this season though) but we played some amazing football in the 2nd half. Really good to see Salah and Firmino start to link up again like we know they can.

Not a single bad performance, this team really is something special.
