You're up to date mate, you should have 15 players at the moment & your next turn should be coming up soon.

So we can buy the players who turn 24 when the draft selection process ends then?
Who are they?

I haven't got a clue who I'm picking and I don't mind catching up given we're down to the dregs anyway. So please skip me for now.

Glad you didn't!!

I've pretty much resigned meself to spending all me cash. I could save 10 mil or so for picking a couple risers in the end of season draft but i'm not sure how much of that money will last a long season on poor economy. Will disgust me seeing it getting eaten away over the season aswell

What's the story with keepers? You can get away with only one keeper or will sm automatically sign one for you to insure there's two??

I'm gonna pick two but I think you can get away with just one. The limit only comes into play if/when you try to sell a keeper. I remember loads of people only picking one keeper in the SG draft.

Ah right cheers. I could sign a dirt cheap one if i thought sm would sign one. Remember someone saying something like it before. Bit of a relief

I know what you mean, I've tried to keep my wages under £1m but decided on bringing in a forward last night so will probably go over now. In hindsight it was a mistake not spending on a decent forward but you live and learn.

Y ou could get a good young forward in the end of season draft providing the effects of the economy aren't drastic and you save a decent bit of money. With the season going to be so long, players bans will be up in time to sell for the end of season draft anyway so you could sell further. I'm gonna start filling the squad up with some fodder just so i have a bit over the 21 incase i need to sell come season end

Couldn't help myself with that Iniesta pick. I know he'll probably decrease a lot in value before the season is done, but fuck it. Busquets, Modric and Iniesta is pretty much the dream midfield for me.

Dig many of these legend picks. Didn't know Lucio was still playing. He was a beast!

Can't help but feel slightly envious of those who are still catching up.

Think we've all picked 21 players now, apart from G in Gerrard who's owed two picks.

Would still like to sign another player or two to beef up my squad. Are we waiting for Chris to make his picks before the rest of us can sign players?

Lucio is one of my favourite players of the 00s, it's great seeing older legends in your squad instead of random players.

That's always been the case from what KK said. Probably lost in one of the many discussion threads on SM now. Hopefully Chris can whizz through and get his 21 players signed up in the next couple of days. Then we can all continue signing supplementary players from early next week.

Hope he joins soon so. I'd imagine the players we'd all be after wouldn't be the type of players he would feel hard done by for not picking up, unless people have their eye on those whos birthdays it's been recently.... :D

Players are gonna have to be signed for the remaining unmanaged aswell

Klip has spoken!

The draft is over.

We can all bid on players, including those who turned 24 during the draft.

Only a few 70 rated shitmunchers available from what I can see.

Early predictions for the first league winners then?

Should be pretty tight. Groningen, Chapecoense, Carlos A. Manucci and Wanka look pretty strong to me. I'll go with Chape!

Really excited by this signing. He's come in for a lot of unfair stick this season but he's going to be an absolute stud for us. Welcome aboard  8)

Hard to say at this stage. It's going to be affected by a number of things. I imagine most people's squads will look fairly different by the end of the season, as they look to balance the books & ready themselves for the first supplementary draft. None of us have much squad depth either, so an injury or two could change everything. It's going to be an absolute shitshow, and I'm thoroughly looking forward to it ;D ;D

Vasco aren't attaching too much weight to the first season, mostly looking to build a solid foundation on which to build future success. Going to try to finish as high up the league as possible for the extra $$$ and a cup run would also be nice.

Gona be tight. Five in it I think. I reckon your slightly bigger clump of heavy hitters should tip the balance Santos' way in the crucial games.
