Can see it now. Dortmund will be 1-0 up, blow about a million chances and City equalise late on.
...only for Haaland to score 2 in injury time.

Haaland to score four tonight, rip his shirt off...then his rubber
skin comes off revealing a Terminator underneath.

Or Haaland to score a hatrick, then take his shirt off to reveal a t shirt bearing a human rights protest message.

He haven't scored in 6 games (incl. internationals). Hopefully he evens that out with six goals tonight!

Really hope they get knocked out the FA cup by chelsea and then out the champions league by PSG

imagine how unbearable they'd be if they won the quadruple?

But the thing is, was talking to a lad in work about it, if they did win it, they'd get so much praise from the media and fans yet nobody will actually call them out and say well with the money they've spent they should be winning everything

I may be misreading this, but apparently Phil Foden has sacked his media company for tweeting Mbappe asking "Are you ready?".  The media company claim it was approved by the talent.

Article here... https://www.espn.com.au/football/manchester-city/story/4361258/man-citys-foden-splits-from-social-media-company-in-wake-of-mbappe-tweet

I guess City are trying to make sure every little hole is plugged regarding player focus for the PSG tie.  This decision - if they are behind it - seems a bit extreme and no clearer sign of how desperate they are to win it after so many...many failures.

It´s not that weird. He needs clicks to justify being paid for spouting absolute shite. There is no where near enough clicks that can be generated by City fans, so he throws Liverpool into the equation and low and behold thousands of people are suddenly visitng his Twitter feed and the MEN.

Don´t feed the troll.

PSG-Chelsea looking like the more likely (and tastier) CL final. "Tastier" due to all Tuchel beef on both sides. Not sure about City going any further in that competition.

I've honestly barely watched non-LFC footy this season. I didn't realise they've all turned on Sterling. I went onto a few Man City pages and they're slating him, saying it's like playing with 10 men.

There's huge pressure on them to win the Champions League now.

Give over Manc.

Worst in league history?  ;D

Leicester finished 12th the year after they won it, 50 points behind the league champions of that year

Chelsea finished 10th in 2016, 31 points behind the league champions, the year after their league title

Chelsea finished 5th in 2018, 30 points behind the league champions, the year after their league title.

Blackburn finished 7th in 1996, 20 points behind the league champions, the year after their league title.

And that's recent history, I couldn't be arsed to go further back, there's more than enough examples.
