Had a quick look through here,  I would say about 50/50 have and have not got.  I think the highest reserve list is 7000odd, so I would guess that there were only 7000odd tickets available.  I find that hard to believe, my guestimate was almost double that.  Bette than Athens obviously, but it does make you wonder how many are sponged by the sponsors, Thomas Cook etc.  Just doesn’t feel right.

Said on the official there were roughly 15,000 in the ballot for 8,500 tickets lad.

The club announced on the website:
There were 8,345 tickets, and over 15,000 applicants

commiseration's to all who were not lucky in the ballot, but for those successful, that has been one nerve racking week! :scarf

Any signs of the numbers involved in how many tiks where in the ballot?  Seems a lot of disappointed people around. I genuinely thought roughly 50% would be a shoe in.

I'm still hunting for a spare and thought it would be easy after the ballot today but obviously not! I can't even entise mates with future Aways! There off my list!

I'm debating that already..... If I did that I would have to buy the childs ticket and offer it someone on here.
Bloody hell, feel so guilty being negative after actually getting something in the ballot, it's just this was the worst possible outcome if we were successful if that makes sense.

2x STs each with a Final ticket

3x fan cards in the ballot

1x adult fan card qualifies
1x child fan card quailfies
1x adult fan card does not qualify - however because of Liverpool FCs child/adult ruling  :hally

3x more tickets Final tickets  :hally

ive waited for this day for so long, where some the ST holders who have got the Prem League away games stitched for tickets, miss out on a Final ticket because of their own apathy towards the good ole League Cup,  there is a little justice in the world  ( i did forget to add that i had tough shit in the Athens ballot, hence my current delight )

Why are you guessing?  The club announcement gave the precise numbers.  Fucking hell.  So much for the conspiracy wonks on here claiming they would never release the numbers.

Also interesting that with over 8000 tickets available there were far more than I expected, so definitely no big cream off to corporate / Thomas Cook.

Finally, funny that people are trying to find patterns in who was lucky and who was not.  I am awaiting the L postcodes were thrown out of the ballot post.  The ballot was independently run by the ERS.  It will have been as random as possible and it will have been scrupilously fair and transparent (otherwise why pay them big money to run it).

And loads of others will buy and sell to a mate. Don't think there'll be many at all who don't take up the option.

Oh shit Sar, just seen your predicament and this is what you were dreading Last week! Same as us, had three in the ballot and the little fella got drawn out so he needs an adult with him. He's giving his 17 year old brother some right shit atthe mo. I've had to hide the kitchen knives cos the older one is gonna go for him. Fortunately the older one is off to France tomorrow with school but tells me that he's still coming to Wembley without.

Gutted none of us (8 in the ballot) got tickets.  Not going to pay silly money to go either, nice boozer in town will have to do.

What is annoying though is a mate of mine who lives in Holland, went to the Man City game, only sodding game he has been to this season and he gets lucky in the Ballot.  Me and all my mates have gone to every game and all of us are 6000+ in the waiting list.

Hope FA cup is different with auto cup!

Corporate/hospitality didn't get dibs either btw. They got allocated today and no pick of seating etc. you could pick price band of ticket to apply for but were directed in the  letter that £72 and below would be what would be available to select. Even then it was first come first served so no guarantees for exec/centenary/premiere club members
