We will never know how many tickets go into the ballot, no doubt many will go missing with our ticket office. I'm not expecting to get lucky as i think tickets will go missing.

You think there'll be missing tickets then?

By hook or by crook I will be in that ground at kick-off. Be easier for me if I come up trumps in the ballot, but if not its not the end.

same here pal. Just think a ballot is a great way of not revealing numbers. Very easy for these tickets to go to other avenues.

Hoprefully with them using an outside agency to do the ballot the numbers will be fully published?

The only reason I can think of is so that people are assured the process is fully transparent and the numbers are published.

I know a couple of people like that. I know at least two that if they only get one they're turning the ticket down.

Four of us in ballot, just found out we have got four from a County FA (happy happy days by the way), so already ballot is fucked up.  I would suggest there will be many like me, and many who are successful in the ballot who don't eventually buy one.  I guess they will have a reserve list?

When they did the ballot in 2006 for the FA Cup final it was by letter wasn't it and if you wanted to be included with other people you sent all the letters back together?

Seems daft that they haven't asked if people in the ballot want to be linked with other people

Thats going to be a pain in the arse if I get one and my brother doesn't or viceversa. What happens say I get one then the ballot finishes, we then see tickets returned for various reasons..will these tickets go back to people in the ballot for a 2nd round 'draw'?

Not sure if you realise but I'm sure I read yesterday that if just the kids ticket comes out, they provide an adult ticket too. Not sure where they find those extra tickets from though?

Yep, just found it...

Myself and my lads in the draw. We all went to Chelsea, City and City again. Had to do the aways on other part timers cards and the part timers are now showing up for the final. Don't blame them though but friggin annoying. AND the Mrs wants a ticket! So 3 in the draw and need 4 so can see some serious arguing going on. Good luck to all in the ballot.

That should be the least of your worries though. If I get one in the ballot I'll be made up. Don't give a toss where my mates are sitting to be honest.

Exactly. It's only 90+ minutes without your mates so hardly the end of the world is it.

Does anyone know when the tickets for those who get lucky in the ballot and buy on the first day will get posted!? And if you're not at home when they arrive will they usually just get dropped of at your local post office so you can pick them up there?

If you're lucky they'll go out the day you buy them, Monday 13th.

Yeah if you're not at home your local post office will hold it

I'm in ballot with my 2 kids, husband guaranteed ticket already as he has a ST. I'd go without them if they didn't get drawn, my biggest worry is that 1 kid will get drawn and the other doesn't. Not sure I could take 1 and leave the other behind. It's daughters 10th birthday the day of the final, she'd never forgive me if I left her behind!

Good luck everyone  :wave

Yep you have a problem there S! How about the ten year old gets the ticket for her birthday but the promise that she does all the housework etc everyday until she leaves home. The other kid either does nothing at all until he/she leaves home or he/she goes to Wembley for the FA Cup semi. You will then have the problem of who goes to the final!!

Good luck.

Not that it changes anything but ill be unbearable on Friday in work
