Have you emailed the club?

Do we actually know if he’s scammed someone bar heresay on social media. Had a look on Facebook, I doubt a scammer would have that many followers

Was a couple people in Salzburg that travelled and didn't get tickets. Some people do receive their tickets. There's that guy on Twitter too who has about 15k followers or something and is selling Man City away tickets for £75/each bank transfer. He's either a really shit tout or...

Part of the frigging problem when they are paying over the odds for tickets

It will never stop and nobody will get anything for taking the high ground but....

Every time you buy off someone, even FV, they benefit, and you make the situation worse for yourself in the long run.

And none of us will ever change it because we’ve all done it and if we don’t we miss out and someone else benefits again.

We sit on the ticket website scrapping over 1 or 2 tickets so I'd say 50 potentially back in our hands is big.

Just goes to show that when people complain they are being listened to and action is being taken. You can’t ask much more from the club over the last few months.

lads who sat next to me spoke to Brian Severs from security at HT, he had about 50 envelopes in his hand and told them those are cards they confiscated today at one turnstile (actually not necessarily W, but this is where I sat)

Why would they confiscate them though, I dont get it.

Unless they are fake cards, or cards sold by scammers/touts without the game on so they flashed red?

maybe they were doing random ID checks on Sunday?
if your name doesn't match the one on the card you use, they can surely take away the card and ask the owner to clarify?

Have to be fakes/they’ve flashed red.

Good on them if they are doing random ID checks, but sure the club said they wouldnt be doing them after the fan update

Do tickets need to be scanned for a credit to register? just wondering will the new fan update maybe make those who can afford to buy 13 or more tickets, but cant attend games and would previously have sold them on (or credit farmed them), would they leave the seat empty?

I'm not certain but about 100 odd had bought tickets for United but had not completed the Fan Update - it is possible that those tickets (that were cancelled by the Club) were the ones that failed and where confiscated.

is the confusion as simple as even though 7,000 qualified as 13+ there aren't 7,000 tickets on sale in the bulk members sale?

I've got to the bottom of the 7000 'blog' entry.

The Club say 7000 should have been described as 'attempts' - not 7000 individuals - some people will have attempted a number of times.

no one said they confiscated all those tickets from one person

unless you're referring to 'he had a stack of envelopes' but if that's the case then you should read my earlier posts more careful

That makes more sense, I added 10 of those for one of my lads and still ended up having to get it verified at the window.

Why? what is there rational about saying how many attempts there has been?  Bit like saying how many shots on target each side had and ingoring how many goals had actually been scored.  Which is the only information that matters.

Yes.  Very odd explanation from the Club that has taken a long time coming.  Sounds like the blog writer did not understand what the numbers reported by the system were.  I wonder how many actual technical IT people are in the direct employ of the Ticket Office.  I'm guessing none.

I wonder if any of the cancelled and then returned tickets were given to corporate sponsors or something like that. That video of the fans who looked like they were on a school trip all kitted out in club merch and like they had a tour guide with them got me thinking it.

None -all went back into GA.

The tourists were hospitality ticket holders who bought pre-season for a lounge.

Nowhere, Club honoured tickets bought via TC as far as they could. Anything not sold by TC they were looking to get back but it was not necessarily straightforward.

I had thought they would've started the Season Ticket Fan Update by now, wondering why the delay? It's over 3 weeks since Members with 13 credits Fan Update finished. Kind of wondering if they have drafted in more staff & are training them up to deal with the Season Ticket holders & all the potential scenarios?

They were tidying up the members' waifs and strays and have been consulting with supporters. The consultation process is nearly done.
