Money wise

I have been reading that its best to take Euros or Dolla's into ukraine to exchange, this is on .gov website, but the Liverpool Echo are saying take Stirling mainly £50 notes for better rate?

The later seems a big risk to me if not government suggestion

Lady I spoke to at the TO today told me that names would be printed on the tickets, yes.

There is likely to be thousands out there with tickets in another name, mind, so not sure what the plan is from them to handle that.

Ticket Office windows at Anfield are open at the following times this week…

Ticket office opening hours

Thursday May 17 – 8.15am to 7.45pm
Friday May 18 – 8.15am to 5.45pm
Saturday May 19 – 9.15am to 3pm
Sunday May 20 – 12pm to 4pm
Monday May 21 – 8.15am to 7.45pm
Tuesday May 22 – 8.15am to 7.45pm
Wednesday May 23 – 8.15am to 5.45pm
 

Tickets Being Sent Via Special Delivery

Tickets purchased up until Friday 11 May have now been dispatched.

Tickets purchased on Monday 14 May will be dispatched Wednesday 16 May.

Tickets purchased on Tuesday 15 May and Wednesday 16 May will be dispatched from Thursday 17 May.

Update on the Luton Airport Strike:

Following a meeting with Unite this morning, the airport made an enhanced pay offer which the union has provisionally accepted.
 
Unite will now consult its members on the offer. During this period the proposed strike action by those working directly for London Luton Airport has been suspended and the airport will continue to operate as normal.
 
However, the threat of strike action remains for Menzies Aviation, a ground handling company for easyJet, Vueling, Blue Air and Tarom from 03:00 Saturday 26 May until 14:00 Sunday 27 May, and CCS our passenger assistance provider, from 05:00 Monday 28 May until 05:00 Wednesday 30 May. 
 
Whilst we do not anticipate any impact to the operation there remains a chance of some minor disruption.

Our advice to passengers is to check the status of your flight with your airline.

So no strike action at Luton Airport next Friday  :)

Been up to the  TO today for my two that I paid for on Monday told they  will be available for collection Friday . The person whose name is on the season ticket ( lead person ) has to collect them in person , as ive had a major issue with this today which thankfully now appears to be sorted .

I have the log in details , it's not my account as the ticket are in his name . But it's my email address my bank card thats used and my two names and address on the ballot process but the season ticket holder has to come to collect with ID . With hindsight postage would have been less of an issue but I'm near the ground and didn't trust the royal mail
