We are probably playing Berlin away the weekend before this. We are holding off flights until that is confirmed. Going to fly to Berlin on the Friday, train to Munich on the Sunday or Monday.

How likely is this ?

Ive just booked tickets in 113 for the first day and 114 for second day but might hold of on flights for now if this is true ?

It's their 125th anniversary, and they want to play us as it's also our 125th. they were founded on 25th July. I have heard the match is likely to be 29th July.
Not seen anything confirming it yet.

If I try to reregister it says I'm already registered but won't let me log in. Same for a few mates. Did you just get in with no problems?

Also, when you registered previously, do you remember if you received a verification email?

And finally, loads of tickets left???
I tried to register an it said already an email account registered so changed my password cos could I fuck remember it an logged in no bother...i bought 3 for both days same seats but that was within half an hour of the sales starting

It's also worth looking at the regional trains. it's only about 30 min longer than the ICE train. If there's a group of you, you can get a Bayern ticket for €25 plus €6 per extra passenger, up to 5 people. so for 5 of you, this costs €49, under €10 each.
This will cover you for pretty much all public transport (except the high speed trains) in Bavaria from 09:00 to 03:00. So that will cover U-bahn/tram in Nuremberg, regional train to Munich and all u-bahn and S-bahn in Munich for the day.

Info here: https://www.bahn.com/en/view/offers/regional/regional-day-tickets.shtml

Flying to Berlin early Saturday.
Train to Nuremberg on Monday and staying there for 1 night. There's a beer festival a bit further north of Nuremberg for that night.
Train to Munich on Tuesday.
Fly home Thursday.

What hotel? We are in Ibis Altstadt, which is right by the main station.

We get there Monday afternoon from Berlin, but then we are going to this beer festival. 27 mins on the train from Nuremberg:

We're in the Norris Hotel which according to Google is 7km from Nurnberg Zoo so thats sound  :o

Looks like its just on the edge of town.  Ryanair from Manc and into Nurnberg late afternoon and then jumping the train down to Munich on Tuesday morning

Anyone got a link for tickets ?

For train tickets to Munich?
For 8 of you, i would get 2 regional tickets for 4 people. Will be €43 for 4 of you. If you buy in advance it will do you for public transport in Nuremberg to get to the station, a regional train to Munich and all your public transport in Munich for the whole day. Doesn't work on ice trains. That will also get you to and back from the ground in day 1.

The match ticket DOES NOT include public transport, which is unusual for German teams, but looks like Bayern didn't want to subsidise it.

Have a look at my post further up the page. The train to Munich will be a bit slower than an ice (30 mins or so longer), but it's at least half price, plus local trams and u bahn.

That hotel is on Bucher Strasse. I used to live on Bucher Strasse, but at the other end by the city centre, hence the FC nürnberg avatar.
It's a bit of a walk into town but there is a tram that runs down Bucher Str.

Sounds boss that mate.  So 2 x regional tix would cost me €86. That would get us the train from Nurnberg to Munich and public transport in and out of town and then to the stadium ?

I went for the England game there just over a year ago and the away end can hold nearly 5,000 as its split between the upper and lower tier, once in the ground you could go in either as its the same area inside just with steps up into the upper.

There are only 2 teams in Liverpool. Liverpool and Liverpool reserves.
