What about a couple of people who can't afford a ST on their own and have to share the cost?
What about the fact that the Club actively marketed STs to individuals in the 1980s and 1990s when we were on the bones of our arse as a football club? Not even a nod to their continuous loyalty?
Or that the Club until recently did nothing against sharing or passing on among friends and family?

I think you may find that they will allow one final 'passing on' at the death of a STH to a family member in the new scheme.

Exactly that.  I applied when were getting abut 35000 through the gate.  Amazing how many of these excited members have materialised from since then. ;D

When this first came in Graham, you did say that passing on STs between family will be stopped.

It will be ultimately - they are just saying that there might be an allowance of an older person passing on at death once. If you want to stop going then the ability to pass on after this Update won't be allowed.

Are you suggesting the Club are going to renege on their promise not to do "random" searches?

Pretty much every ST holder I know seems to give a few games or split games with a family member. I see no issue with it, especially if it's a family thing (I'm not a seasie, nor on the waiting list).
well ihopetbus doesn't happen I don't bring ID with me to football and see no reason too why should I have to prove who I am I got my season ticket in my name paid with a card in my name why should I be forced to bring ID too

Because other people don't have them in their name and some people tout them.

It's ilke saying why do I have to go through airport security, I haven't got a knife!

Never understood this. Could it not just be brought in a wallet? I thought it said somewhere in the terms and conditions that you had to bring ID to a game. Maybe not

Do you have one of those phone case things that doubles up as a card wallet?

The suggestion of having to provide ID to watch a game of football is Tory as fuck. Comparing it to airport security, christ almighty.

You're right, having to show ID is nowhere near as taxing as airport security

Seriously though, I wasn't comparing the situations, I was comparing the principle. i.e. having to be checked over when you've know you have nothing to hide.

Probably a bad example but here we are.

yep at least twice possibly 3 times although 3rd time might have just dropped it after a beer or 10 to many

Getting ID'd and going through security at an airport is not the same principle as getting ID'd at a football match. If you think it is, you're more Tory than I initially thought.

This whole thing is mad. Literally no hassle to bring an ID to a match. You need ID for nightclubs and pubs, to vote etc. Put it in your pocket/bag/wallet wherever. If it stops touts I’m all for it.

Which is an odd example given you don't need ID to get into pubs or clubs over here unless you look 12 years old.

You do need ID in a lot of bars and clubs in Chester tbf, personally always have my ID in my wallet, I’m surprised by the amount of people who don’t carry their ID unless they know they will need it

In Sydney you need ID to get into pubs even if you are 60 years old.

Its not an age verification thing, just an identification thing

Do you just not pay for things?

Why is it "wool" to own a wallet?
To be honest, not even we understand this one entirely.

Maybe it's not considered "hard" to carry your money round in an item of clothing specifically designed for that feature.

Either way, owning a wallet is a bizarre faux pas in certain parts of the city for reasons that would leave most people confused.

Speaking to The Times in an interview, Liverpool FC legend Jamie Carragher was asked if he'd ever done anything "flash" that got him ribbed by his mates from Bootle.

He said: “I remember I got a wallet once and got slaughtered for that.”

While anyone else might be picturing a fancy designer wallet that would attract a bit of ridicule, it was literally just a wallet.

Carragher told the interviewer: “Nah, just a normal wallet. Where I’m from, you carry money in your pockets, and I got slaughtered by my mates. I’d never had a wallet before and they thought I was trying to be someone I’m not. I got rid of it. Never had one since.”
