Red77 has done well to get to the final in hist first ever draft. The only one I remember getting this far in their first one is Psycho Sexy in the first Bundesliga Draft.

- Both excellent back fours (both possessing a young talent (Gvardiol and Tomori) who had immense seasons. Varane (on paper the best CB) but has declined, while Tapsoba emerging as a defensive talent over last 2 years. Solid pair of full backs from both and key for their formation.

- Both teams possess an elite defensive anchor man (Fabinho and Casemiro). Vidal (again) has declined over last 2 years but joined by the amazing Muller (still so effective). Adz midfield completed by Gravenberch (a variety of attributes for a young player) and Savic (another complete mid) adding nice balance to Adz' trio. You would think Red's midfield has more edge in terms of experience and knowing what to do to get it over the line, but they come up against a very energetic and leggy midfield.

- Adz' front three is mouth-watering (dangerous with the ball against a deep block or on counter). Kulusevski's time at Spurs has shown his very impressive ability (in terms of attacking output and defensive workrate), but it's a shame he hasn't shown that level for over 12 months. I have a problem with Jesus on the left wing too... ideally off the right wing or centrally. Martinez is class.

I'd predict a 2-1 win for Adz.

Two good teams - though neither were the best in the draft for me - with some good match ups. Overall, I feel that Adz’s tall, powerful, somewhat immobile midfield struggles against Red’s attacking array, too much work for Fab to get through.

Red1977 for me.

Yep! Good fun that one, although not as fraught with peril as some drafts.

Me researching Copa Libertadores finals from the 60s to find a match with Pele vs Rattin was a particular highlight, before being politely informed by Elzar that this was a current day draft. I’m sure that was about round 3 as well.

Next sheep draft (not for a while!) I'll try be a bit clearer with all rules and player regulations before hand to stop me having to PM half of you constantly, and changing my mind on things half way through

Also, definitely gave everyone too many player picking options... More sheep required next time I reckon

Yeah, maybe no trading and more sheep would be a good move. Wonder how the draft would have panned out without either of these....

Next time I suggest not correcting people when they fuck up their own picks too. Let there be carnage!

Yeah do away with trading in future sheepy drafts, that way you dont get people who make 4/5 good picks and then get bored.....and then at the end go 'Oh yeah of course you can have Maradona, Roberto Carlos and Steven Gerrard for Martial and Wan Bissaka'. Like Adz did well with his team, but Brandt instead of Luis Diaz and that might be a different story.
