I’ve just checked back on the selling notice on here, the initial sale was based purely on those that got a ticket for the FA Cup Final a couple of months earlier.

Pretty sure the '06 Cup Final didn't go to a ballot ? Or did it ?

Either way, not sure how these days you can have a ticket allocation based on whether you went to one game especially since you might have only got to the game (instead of someone else) because of pure luck.

What was the thinking behind using such an inadequate stadium to house one of the best supported clubs in the world ??
12k allocation for us is truly awful 😞

week before season lots of clubs have home friendlies, old Trafford probably not welcoming, not sure why Cardiff wasn't picked

Details confirmed on the city website. Like someone said previously, dreadful allocation. They’re putting on a coach for £12 which is good

Why wouldn't OT be welcoming? We've played loads of matches there as a neutral venue, over the years and apart from the vandalism at the 06 semi there's never been any real problems.

And I'm pretty sure United would have grabbed the extra cash if asked.

Not sure what choice they had but ... so much for the club's guarantee, last summer, that "game attendance during 21/22 would not count as credits for any future game"  ???

Oh well, at least they are not including the balloted semi-final and Final as two of the pre-requisites

I know I suggested it but didn't think they'd actually go with last seasons attendance. Even with 3 credits though I'm not sure how far that allocation will stretch.

Everyone with 1+ credit can enter ballot with priority given to those with more games, sign of things to come in the future maybe?

Should have give those who were unsuccessful in both the semi and/or final the first chance in the ballots

How does that work then?

3 different numbered lists? If everyone on 3 gets sorted then those at the top of the two ballot get sorted?

It’s not a bad way to do it to be fair as if it drops then they don’t need additional ballots. Saying that, not many sales have more than one ballot/sale!

Will the club be organising a coach for this one? Would’ve rather it had been St James park or something, better going north than south

It's the same for the ACS Cups as well; priority in the FA Cup ACS goes to those with both games

Yeah I totally agree with it to be fair mate! I just was curious as to how it would work in practice as I presume those on 2 aren't getting tickets over those with 3 etc. (and those with 1 over those with 2).

But yeah once the draw has been done I guess you can just sell and reduce the requisites over time rather than suddenly invite all those with 2 to apply later.

But as you say most of the time it'll sell out before moving down. I think the system used to be that if there were a handful left for those with lower credits it was a free for all sale.

There's probably not much difference between the amount of people who went to all three homes and only went to one. I don't think anybody who went to three will struggle. I've got (off the top of my head) four people in my family who went to all three but wont bother with the Charity Shield.

When I registered it said ballot for people with 3 games. So I presume they are separate ballots and they will only look at the ballot for 2 games if they don't have enough in the 3 game ballot.

How hard is it for people to seriously read?

It literally says people with higher amount of games will get priority, how is that hard to grasp?

This means that if you have 3 games, you will get priority over people with 2 games, Priority means you get first dibs, Which mean you will be selected over someone with less games

The Forest allocation was 4000ish. So - ignoring the PR holders - that leaves 8000ish tickets for the all those people who only did all the homes. Bear in mind that there are at least 30k in the "all the homes" group as that is how many applied for the semi-final ballot last season.

There is no way the ballot, IMHO, is going down to the "2 out of 4" brigade as there would have well in excess of 8k who have all 3 home games. They must be assuming either (a) loads in the first 2 groups won't go or (b) loads of people in the lower groups won't want to go either to have opened the registration up beyond 3+ games.

Yep, agree. I guess they do it for a 'just in case' scenario.

Find the selling notice a bit confusing.  If you’ve got all 4 credits, do you do the ballot? (so they know how many of us intend to buy for numbers)or are you not in the ballot (they assume you’ll be buying anyway)?  Can’t see live ballot button in account - so perhaps the latter.

Not in ballot as we can't see it.

My mate asked me and I panicked that I hadn't entered it but I can't see the option, just log on and buy.

Why would 4 credits need a ballot when it’s guaranteed?

The confusion comes from 13+ members having to register interest in games they are guaranteed tickets for in the league.  So why do they not have a register for this?

Just registered for the ballot. No idea on success chance. Feel it could be pretty much guaranteed to like 1/5. Really no precedent for it!
