It cannot be Monday. It is international break after the game. It HAS to be Sunday. Just waiting on confirmation of time.

Ah yeah, of course.

West Ham United v Liverpool: Sunday November 7, 4.30pm (Live on Sky Sports)
Liverpool v Arsenal: Saturday November 20, 5.30pm (Live on Sky Sports)

Everton play the Sunday before we play them now so I assume the derby will now be on Amazon on the Weds.

We play Milan the Tue after, so the Wolves game must be the Saturday.
So we could not play Thursday before that.

Any chance of Southampton moving from the Saturday, 3pm? Getting quite a few Saturday 3pm home games which is always a bonus from a personal point of view.

Think today's announcement confirms it will be Saturday at 3pm on the basis it hasn't been selected for tv or one of the Sunday games?

every club always has a few because there's a maximum amount of games allowed on TV

Any of you super sleuths know if Newcastle home might get moved to Tuesday (or any other day) from Wednesday 15th Dec? I’m under pressure to book the right time off work...

Yes it could easily still move as no european fixtures to contend with so could be Tue, Wed or Thu.

December/January TV fixtures are due out on 11th October but could well be later as the November TV fixtures were announced 6 days late.

Plenty of variables to consider.

European games are the week before. So the weekend of 11th/12th December will see Spurs, Leicester and West Ham all playing on the Sunday.
Leicester play Spurs the same midweek we are due to play Newcastle, and West Ham play Brentford. Both those are currently scheduled for the Tuesday so with them playing on Sunday, both of those could be moved to Wednesday, and a couple of games from the Wednesday brought forward to Tuesday.

I could be wrong but I don’t think any Wednesday ones will be moved back to Tuesday. Tuesday ones will be moved to Wed due to Europe and playing on the previous Sunday, but that’s why more games are named on Tuesday than Wednesday (7 named for Tue, 3 named for Wed as it stands)

It’s more likely the game moves to Thursday if anything.

Could be wrong though like I said

Is Southampton on 27th Nov likely to move? If so, anyone have any indications yet on when it could be set for?

Very much doubt it - they do a month at a time and think November is sorted for TV (the Everton game is on Amazon)

Thats correct, the Southampton game is not due to move and although not 100% confirmed yet, the derby will be on Wed 1st Dec.

That won't be a fun early morning drive then for me. First game I'm going to this season and will have to sit in Boxing Day sales traffic.

Might have to try and stay in Liverpool over night if it's not too expensive over xmas.

Looks the most likely to be Saturday with Europa on the previous Thursday so Leicester, West Ham and Spurs can't play until Sunday. Spurs are playing Brighton which currently would be 6th v 8th and Leicester are playing the richest club in the world (Newcastle) so I imagine both of those games will be televised on the Sunday.

In saying that, Liverpool v Villa is possibly the biggest game of the weekend so Sky could decide they want it Sunday 4.30.

Time will tell. Hopefully we'll know before the end of the week.
I always said we had the best two teams on Merseyside… Liverpool and Liverpool Reserves.

It might be or might not. These supporters forums are generally clueless. Spurs were saying it would be on Weds. They’re just guessing. Could be tomorrow or Monday or Tuesday. Either way they could care less about fans having to make travel and hotel arrangements.

I’m on that one, 75 quid each returns on the same day. Booked it forgetting about fixture change. Literally the on out change I can tolerate is a move to 12.30. Travel on Boxing Day is balls. I’m flying to manchester and hiring a car for the day as things stand

how's traffic on boxing day in the morning ? trying to read up but not much help reading that london is deserted.. manc airport to liverpool; like a "normal" friday afternoon or is it worse ? thanks
It’s not even about individuality, it’s about the team. Our game was based on his controlling of the tempo. Squeeze the life out of the opposition and then strike. That is our game. Like a pack of pythons.
