People who put a player like Ward-Prowse on the bench deserve their pain. That is just bad strategy.

Glad I forgot about the GW1 bench boost that I pledged to use after years of unrewarded opening day bench bonanzas. This year I would've only got 3 points thanks to Neco and Ward's slow starts and my cheeky punt on Luke Plange being misguided.

:D don't worry, I fucked my team completely by dumping Mitrovic, Martinelli and Toney in my final cut, replacing with Jesus, Trossard and the other Brentford striker, Mbuemo or summit.

Swapped Foden for Saka didn’t I, you big dick.
Salah and Nunez.
Ward-Prowse as my first sub. Boan didn’t start so was all looking good and then he came in as a 93rd minute sub. Fuck off!
52 with 3 to come. Would be 60 had Botman not come on in the 93rd minute. Fuck you Eddie Howe.

Bought Haaland yesterday after having removed him for Harry 'Fucking-Spade-Face' Kane just before GW1 deadline.

At least I bought Haaland at 11.5. Had I waited for after the West Ham game, he is now 11.6.

The bloody blonde Predator face is a goal machine, sadly we can all see that, if we didn't before.

67 points with no Haaland in my team so pretty pleased with that.

Now to get Nunez into my team which I will need to wait for a week to do if I don`t want to use points up. Already got Mo, Diaz and Trent. I think I will use Diaz to release funds for Nunez up top

Feel like the entire game will split captain between Salah and Haaland this weekend. If one surprisingly doesn't score could be a big shift where lots will pull away a bit early on.

Feels like a De Bruyne week to me, bunch of assists and maybe a goal or two.

So here’s where the prick leaves him out.

Bought in Walker (5m) for Perisic as it seems logical to have a city defender.

Just undecided on captain - Salah, Nunez or Haaland.

Gone Haaland in for Kane, did it last weekend so avoided the .5 jump. Got to admit when you're wrong sometimes.

Made him captain over Salah - it was a close one, just feel like it's a no brainer at home to a promoted side who will shit the bed but put in a determined performance against us.

I’ve gone tumbling down the rankings after a solid start last week by not having Jesus in my side. Hopefully most people captained Haaland and Salah can help me post a competitive score this game week .

Its gonna be tough this year with 5 subs and so many players with very high ownership, looks like.

Last week I advised my daughter not to start Mitrovic. We know what happened.

This week she couldn’t be bothered changing things so I thought I’d be nice and put Mitrovic back in for her and benched Xhaka. Oops.

This game can be so frustrating sometimes - Kane captain in a 4-0 win last week, he does nothing. Haaland captain in a 4-0 win this week, just 1 assist and no goals.

If Mo scores a few I'll be quite behind in my league already and as someone else said the majority of teams have the same players (Jesus, Haaland, Mo, Diaz, Darwin, Trent mainly)

Fairly content with my start though. Might have to rethink Bailey if he isn't going to start every game for Villa.

Has anyone else been having constant log-in issues this season? Ever since the game made me change it the first time, it seems to frequently sign me out and then won't recognise the password or the new one I set once I try to log back in. It's been an absolute ballache.

No login issues here, been rocking the same password for years.

On 70 with 3 'pool players left, have already used the captaincy on KdB but if Trent can assist a couple of Mo goals I may have my first triple-digit score of the year already. Long shot but here's hoping. Would be a lot closer to the mark if I'd started Mbeumo and Neco ahead of a few others, but they can't all be winners. After many years of FF I need to wean myself off the idea that a "MUN" fixture is one to be avoided.

this is insane the gw aint over but im sitting 11th on rawk! Super stratosphere.

Other than total final score obviously, my main goal for years and years has been to get on the first page of RAWK at any point during the season.  ;D  Very hard actually, think im about 50-50 at it overall, or maybe even less.

Yes obviously i am peaking too soon but idk  i got the big boys tomorrow thats gotta be a box tick in gw2 ha

Might have to rethink Bailey if he isn't going to start every game for Villa.

This is my main question at the moment. I fancied him as a potential differential, based on preseason (and the fact that I think he's potentially very good as well). Not a great start finding himself benched game two though.

The other one is Neto. Again, seemed like a no-brainer at £5.5m, but Wolves look absolutely toothless at the moment. Upside with him is he starts every week, but might have to look at swapping Bailey for Andreas and having a look for a £6m alternative.

I was also dangerously close to triple captaining Haaland this week (only reason I didn't is because I was stuck in traffic when the deadline passed - thankfully). Never thought I'd be grateful for a traffic jam.

ended up 97 points28k on the gameweek 38k overall and 4th on rawk, with c-mo only 4 points. Unreal.

Definite peak in gw 2  ;D

i was wrong though, the SAS year i had all 3 and Suarez captain from day one and had a blinder of a season and finished second on rawk behind Cian's Onetouchable's, he finished like 50th overall that year it was crazy. so i have been here before, but not for years now.
