Thanks for the pics. Looks like they've added the connectors that will take the support steels for the extended seating. I assume they'll be fabricating the new steelwork offsite at the moment based on site dimensions. The new steel will have to be installed before they can cut out the old columns and start the cladding and seating.

Is that to 'enclose' the gap between the new main stand and the kop? That will look a lot better, always wondered why that wasn't done - looks like they were waiting to do it when then make the changes to the kop.

It's to do with the disabled quota. Think they had to lose regular seats at the front to incorporate disabled area, so they have added more at the back. Overall a loss of seats. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

i think you is correct as heard there will be approx 1,000 seats loss in centenary to make way for disabled seating in each corner as you should able see them briefly in latest vid of the pitch with desso grassmaster in work

It's probably the coverings they put on the lower seats to prevent them getting dirty.

no i can see the coverings but if you look at the pitch at 35 seconds in its like a beech!

So either the pitch is covered or they use a huge amount of top dressing or the video wasnt taken last sunday!

confused but i'll go have a look at skyscraper city

edit - just looked on skyscrapercity and can see the stitching machines etc so looks like the sandy look was top dressing so probably the video was a couple of weeks old

neither i wouldnt have thought

cant see them having been sold yet in case works arent completed in time

suspect these will be late availability sales unless someone knows differently

Looking at my seats from last year mate I was at the back of 208 many times and it was row 60.

Looking at my seats I've got for some of the games this year in the recent sales I'm in rows 63 and 64 at times in 208 - so definitely some where available.

Wonder what it will be like. If it's some mizzy arses no doubt they will moan and we'll all be sitting in 202 and 208. Really hope not. Could be decent as well.

I'm hoping this helps a little with how the sound travels in the stand? Sometimes if you're up in 304 you often can't hear the likes of 202 and vice versa - I always put it down to the staggered blocks. Although 304-306 will still be staggered - I was hoping it'd make a difference.

I got row 66 in 202 for the Palace game so they've deffo been sold in the members sale. Weren't released for the ACS though so they'll be fully available for the cup games.

Got a ticket for the Palace game at the back of 202, was fine in the new part with decent views. Only problem was the bellend of a steward who wanted everyone to sit down!

Was at the back of 208 in the new part. Pretty decent. £37 as well still.

It sort of kept us in sync with 306 a bit. I hope that continues.

LOADS of people could not work out where they were. Loads heading for the back row because that's where the season ticket was and lots of confused discussions. Club haven't really publicised this expansion for some reason so quite a number didn't realise.

It's been really well done I think. Now if only people would stand up...
