Question: if you change your address from one Liverpool address to another do you need to re-register for the local sales?
Yes, otherwise the paper tickets will go to your old address.

I was at the game saturday and I said to the fella, sat next to me with his son: "not bad for 9 quid, isn't it?" and his answer was: "I paid £80 each outside the ground"..

FFS, if this is true it really does take the piss. When you think of the hard work done by loads of people to get this off the ground, stuff like this will just give the club a gift wrapped excuse to stop the £9 tickets.
What checks to the club do to make sure that these can't be resold? As someone said before, paper just makes it easier for touts. That said, I'm sure the seats in question and therefore the original buyers could be identified.

A lad off my coach got a £9 ticket off a website (I can't remember the websites name) which acted as a go between for ppl wanting tickets.  He was put in touch with a lad from Liverpool who then sold him his £9 ticket for  £100. I got him to report this to a Stewart when he came out the ground. I fear this is the way a lot of these £9 tickets are going to go. Imagine how much there going to go for games against Utd And Everton

He told me that they didn't give them 2 membership cards but they gave them 2 tickets

That fella who payed 80 quid for 1 ticket needs his head testing.

You can see why the club wants to charge so much when they know dopes like him will pay through the nose

should have a separate turnstile and a fancard with photo ID to go with the ticket, sounds draconian but we all know how the touts are going to abuse this

Is there no one at the club you can grass to? If you say where the people who bought touted tickets were sat, the club should be able to trace that seat back to someone, no?

Must admit it did surprise me the number of accents in U1 on Saturday that were clearly from nowhere near Liverpool.  U1 sort of had a Scouse heartbeat with quite a few songs starting up and spreading across the upper tier but there were so many that looked out of place and it wouldn't surprise me if loads of £9 tickets were being touted.  Needs a solution, can't blame out of towners for this,  people using L postcodes to buy and freely tout tickets.

So they get sent paper tickets even if they have membership cards?

Surely noting the seat numbers and reporting them to the club would get them at least doing checks - given others in the Annie Road have reported similar checks being done there.

And of they do nothing then, try the SC or SoS. Even the odd discreet photo (or pretend selfie) might be useful if obvious.....? Give what the club said about local fans I like to think they would do something here if it is more than the odd one or two.....

3 minute wait time, sold out just as I got on the page. Clicked around a bit and managed to get one, boss!
Never thought I'd be able to get tickets for a united game, can't afford the 8 games a season pre req. Even better for only £9!

Anyone who's bought a £9 ticket, does it go on your card like a full price? so you get loyalty for it.

Bloody hell - I was waiting from about 8 o'clock and when I got on it was a 5 minute queue - sold out before I got any! How do they allocate places in the queue? Is it a case of everyone getting on at the same time, so it's a matter of luck, or is there a way of getting in 'early'?

Bl or is there a way of getting in 'early'?

people used to say there was a system or a que, but from my experience its absolute pot luck
for example for the hull game my friends were loged on from 7:30, i logged on two devices after 8am and managed to get in before my friends.

I think it's just luck. Usually drives me mad when I come on these threads and people say they got straight in when I hadn't even got a sniff. This time, was just simple. 0815, straight in.

Has to just be pot luck

Would be shite if it didn't. A ticket bought through the club should always count towards loyalty regardless of how much it costs.

i watched the chelsea game at my sisters. her 12 year old son is severly autistic and i forgot myself and jumped up screaming at the goal and he went nuts. screaming and shouting. scared the fuck out of me. apologised to my sister as i thought id upset him, turns out he was joining in.

Thinking about it logically, if there are, for example, 100 people all trying to log in at 8.15, they have to be put in an order. I suppose it's a matter of luck at just what fraction of a second after the system opens that you actually log onto it that determines your position in the queue.
