Atletico Mince podcast
« on: January 15, 2019, 10:37:04 am »
Been listening to it for a while now, and whilst not the biggest fan of Andy Dawson, I'd listen to Bob Mortimer doing the shipping forecast.

Latest episode had Adrian Lewis ordering a meat feast and it may be the funniest 5 minutes I've ever experienced.

Just got onto this around Xmas time. Absolutely love it. Peter Beardsley sketches have me in stitches. Adrian Lewis was great too (works a treat imagining that it is fat Sam)
Phil Brown just off the phone. Stupid sod didn't know what 'Gardening Leave' meant. He's spent the past week planting fucking roses.

Hah, I was imagining the Count of Monte Bisto too.

A fan has lovingly animated a lot of his sketches, including Meat Feast:

The henderson song fucking murders me man.

'I store Walnuts, I eat tin foil'.
3 midfielders minimum in the next window. And probably another young CB to boot.

Anything else is negligent.

There's also an "'ave you ever noooticed?" compilation too. It's 63 minutes long.

Another massive fan here, I don't think they've made a bad episode and they usually leave me with tears streaming down my face.

Gangs of the EPL, Barry Homeowner and Steve McLaren and his Hair Island are comedy gold but the Peter Beardsley sections are absolute genius and never fail to have me in stitches.

Hit episode 47 and Liverpool are now in the gangs of the epl. Lillyliananana is brilliant. Love it when Bob fucks up the accent and has to recount which it is by saying certain phrases. The best being "I do declare" for Rashford.

The trouble Bob has with the South African accent at times just makes those stories so funny, I was listening to one before and he went from Welsh to Indian and then Scottish before giving up and doing one of the stories about a young maiden with "plenty o tit' trying to escape the Laird.

Yes, episode 46 I think.  listened to that one a few days back.  Beardsley has just made his first appearance in the one with Jon Jon Shelvey in the gangs of the epl.
