The through ball to Salah was so good, Virgil was celebrating before Salah took his shot.

That's how good Trent (and Salah) are.

I love the cross-field passes to Robertson. Terrific sttuff

It will always be a viable outball because of how pressing works. It's just that not many FBs have the ability to execute it. What's probably more significant is how we now have another viable tactic to using our forwards' pace in rapid counter attacks. Because Robertson and TAA are so consistent with crosses, our forwards now queue up in the middle, even though none of them are heading specialists. If the opposition push up, Mane and Salah will kill them for pace (see Roma last season). If they stay back, we will have 3 forwards in the middle waiting for two of the most dangerous crossers in the game. We just need to perfect the through ball and cut back routine that Man City have and we'll reliably easily beat most teams.

Completely different systems, I doubt Trent would have anywhere near the attacking contribution for us were Hodgson still in charge.  Wan-Bissaka is a good player, whether he can expand his game in a more attacking role remains to be seen.

Agree. Trent has got nimble and quick thinking forwards to feed, Wan-Bissaka has Benteke.

Mind you at United he'll have Lukaku........

Sorry for the nature of this post but am wondering if anyone can tell me where the backing track on this Melissa Reddy video comes from (Who's the artist / What's the song that starts at 01:06 ?). Asking for a friend who's looking to get permission to use the track (Shocking that ESPN doesn't include the source for Copyright reasons in the video description). Cheers.
