I was the first to vote in this round as my back has been giving me jip all night. Now, giddy with naproxen, I'm doing the write up. I'm actually warming even more to Lobo's team....it's the drugs!! That front 4 is potent with no passengers, which, unfortunately, at this stage of the tournament, Fekir could be for tubs. On current form the big Pole and Depay are big plusses for our midfield guru; supplemented by Mo...tasty. However, Tubs has that Havertz-Haaland combo with Goretzka who was a colossus last night making light work of the so so Lobo midfield two. He'll run all over them the big strong German fellah. As the two defences are of similar quality and, as everyone keeps telling me, the games are won in midfield then Tubby it is in a very close game. 2-1
Likewise, Trend's formation is supremely balanced and Sir P's ageing midfield is really going to struggle to keep pace with Matuidi and Partey whilst helping a beleaguered and limited back four, Robbo aside, to keep out that brilliantly put together front 4, it's a solid 3-1 win imo.
