Sent. Used the original email with one or two slight changes.

Can't put in to words how upset I am. I'd take a 10-0 defeat happily today if it mean tomorrow Hicks was ousted from the club.

Done. The CC game is now a big one.

Must be boycotted.  This could make the press here sit up.

Will post a request to e-mail them on the Israeli supporters branch forum - think if they get it from supporters from Liverpool and abroad they might realize the scale of our fanbase. Need to get the OOTers in on this.

Have forwarded a copy of the mail to Hicks & his son and C.C'd Gillett and the rest of the board with this:-

Dear Messrs. Hicks

On behalf of millions of angry Liverpool fans around the world this morning, thought you might like to see that the current e-mail campaign is now gathering momentum and the fans are so angry and disillusioned with your plans then I fear the Club will further decline into oblivion.

It is time to do the right thing by the fans and the City of Liverpool, in particular the area of Anfield, which is despearte for new investment and leave this football club to those who have it's interests at heart.

To those involved in the laughable 'sale of the club', I urge you to strongly resist any attempt by Mr Hicks to gain sole control, Liverpool fans the world over are watching everybody's role in this.

Yours faithfully

Fair play but why the above and why be polite about it now? It's quite clear that they have no interest in doing the right thing, unless someone shows them the money this is heading to destruction.

No666 is right to identify this as a serious and damaging development.

In addition to a correspondence campaign which inevitably has a limited impact on foreign lending institutions the threat of peaceful, legitimate protest which will disrupt any future investment needs to be made.Protests which stopped games being played would paralyse that investment and have immediate impact.

Message edited slightly and sent.   I just don't understand how the **** anyone can lend this idiot any money.  I honestly don't think I can take another 2 years of this.  But once Torres leaves, which will definately happen if this goes through, more fans might actually wake up and realise what it really going on.  Keep up the good work guys.

May I suggest that when you send these emails, include your location when signing it off, show them how worldwide we really are, give them a better idea if they need one of what they are letting themselves in for.

Edit: actually stick ”from xyz” in the subject, slightly more chance of them seeing if they don't read emails.

Oh believe me G, I wanted them to be aware of the latest e-mail 666 has done.

That was my final polite mail, I can assure you they are won't be getting anymore, besides which, Broughton et al are supposedly trying to block them, so if that's true, I don't think we should be rude to them.

Will copy and paste and send from my phone as in work all day but will draft a reply in my head and send again tonight from home. Haven't even thought about the game cos of this it makes me sick to even think of hicks never mind another 2 years of him. The club will not be able to take two more years of him. All of you reading this thread please do your bit. Power in numbers.

Torres will be the sacrificial lamb in all of this, the one whose departure will be a tipping point in many fans eyes.

Its a shame that it has to go that far before some fans wake up to the situation. The funny thing is there were probably more people actively protesting at games (during the rafa/klinnsman debacle) than there is now when the club is almost on its knees.

Fair enough :) I don't trust any of those at board level and that includes Broughton as I'm yet to see evidence that he has or will do anything favourable for us. Regardless of whether Huang bid was rubbish or not the silence from him has always been worrying.

I have done that since the beginning mate, at one point I suggested on here that we should ask our Spanish friends to help us ( we have some really good Spanish posters on here) Indeed we should be asking other fans of clubs all around the world to help out.
"Football is a simple game based on the giving and taking of passes, of controlling the ball and making yourself available to receive a pass, it is really that simple"

I totally agree.  Most fans, I include a lot of my mates in that, will only take notice when he leaves.  Hopefully it won't come to that but perhaps he has to be sacrificed for more people to take notice of what is really going at the club.  But if he does leave it will probably be to late!!!!!!!
