When will members need to complete the fan update? There's a few of us on here who have only just got to the required number of credits that will put us in the guaranteed sale for next season

No credit. Don't go in or pass it on - no credit. Principle thane are now adopting is going the game gets the credit, not buying the ticket.

If you newly qualify for the sale and get tickets you will do the Member's Update after securing the tickets - but you will have to do it or no tickets.

Which is right. But the club needs to change the loyalty system to a points based system then in that case.

Otherwise, miss one game and you drop off the ladder.

Got to 13+ myself this year, so if I go to buy tickets in the bulks sale in July I won't be able to complete the transaction unless I upload my driving licence?

Needs to be official communication regarding this and well in advance.

Could even transfer credits from guaranteed cards to cards not guaranteed so you're all on 13-15 credits each to pull the other people up

Or if there's no limit on transfers, transfer all 19 games and cups to another member rather than transfer during fan update

They are going to have to let members who have got to 13 this year complete the fan update in this phase with season ticket holders.

It's the only way there's not going to be absolute chaos during that bulks sale, and people 'guaranteed' tickets actually missing out on them!

If they turfed 1500 odd people off the 13+ mark with the fan update this year is it still going to be 13+ next year ?

The card transfer doesnt help reduce touting

Whats to stop someone selling their card for £1000, and not officially transferring it?

The card will still get scanned - how will the club know who used it

Going to be awful. Every man and his dog will get the email in the summer "Apply now for tickets to see the mighty reds at the home of Liverpool Football Club and soak in the glorious atmosphere" etc. etc.

But that means like I said members on 13+ would have to be included in this STHs phase of it, which there has been no mention of so far.

The refreshing will still be there it's just for the bulks, but then there is a whole new ticketing system coming in so I don't even know they they haven't seen how this went before introducing ballots

Definitely! As soon as people catch wind of the new process everyone will be applying. The club have basically screwed over those who have consistently attended 4-12 games every season.

I can understand the guaranteed sale to 13+ it’s only fair but throwing us on 4+ into a ballot for games like Everton and Man United just isn’t on

ST holders might have to do it before they renew their ST's which is due in what like April - May/June?

New members with 13+ could just be after that in June/July - not going to be that many maybe 500-1000

People will still pay the memberships, if anything more will sign up

good money making move from the club

Was this sent out to every member? Probably the majority of members who’ve just jumped on the bandwagon and can’t get a ticket voting for the ballot. I imagine that us folk who’ve been going regularly for years are majorly packed within the 20% against the ballot.

Hard to take that us members with large numbers of credits over the years, this year I’ll finish on around 11/12 are going to be thrown into a random ballot with the thousands of other members if that's the case.

And the fact the club hasn’t moved to a points based system is a missed opportunity for me, or at least introducing more tiered sales.

Just replacing the bulk sales. Although who knows how the late sales and late drops will work on this new system.

Maybe the club will start announcing times of drops making it even more impossible for people to get them

F&F will NOT see a paper ticket produced for the recipient from a STH - it will be a notification to the F&F's smart phone in an app

Hurrah they have finally seen the light! I'm wondering, because it said something about the paper tickets on the statement, but will this also extend to local general sales? I think it's a good thing, I'm not complaining!
