I reckon Man City v Spurs and Wolves v United are the Sunday games and we’ll get 12.30 Saturday off the back of Istanbul.

I'll be amazed if we get more than 6, 3pm games on a saturday this season. As for the 12's, 5,'s and 7's kick off times, I'd say we will have no more than 15 games on a Saturday, this season.

So to reply to your question, in all likelihood, i'd say yes, though if not, the 5:30 or 7:45-is will be rolled out.

It would be interesting to find out what percentage of our games were live last season. 60% plus ?

Yes the 9 non TV games last season were: Southampton H, Cardiff H, Watford H&A, Burnley A, Newcastle H, Brighton A, Palace H & Bournemouth H.

With the Amazon games & the games around the break in February, we're likely to have 30+ TV games this season.

I don’t. We can only have 4 Friday/Monday all season and if that’s Monday it means they’ve used two of the four in August.

That is correct although they ignored that 'rule' last season as we had 5 Friday night/Monday night league matches :

Palace away
Wolves away
West Ham away
Southampton away
Huddersfield home

So clearly the rules are made to be broken.

Sky make a point of having a game almost every day so I’d expect someone to play on that Monday.

I think at the end of the season they can use Champions League to make swaps. For example I don’t think we had our quota of 12.30 Saturday games.

Thats correct, we didn't, but they do state that the maximum allowed is x amount so no great surprise if we don't have a full quota of matches at a certain time. I still think that they should state though that the maximum allowed is x...but that could be increased due to the Champions League, unless it already says that in the small print somewhere?

Sure that increased to 5 when Sky bought Friday on the previous tv deal.

According to the Digital Spy forum for 2018-19 PL TV fixtures, the quota for Friday night/Monday night games was 4 & we had Palace away, Wolves away, West Ham away & Southampton away in this package.

So what did the Huddersfield home match come under then? as that was also a Friday night and had nothing to do with a bank holiday weekend.

Was a Champions League weekend so I think they can probably use the Sunday 1.30 but go 'Well we can't play it then, so we'll move it'.

Here are the maximum package splits for this season:

Package A: BT Saturday 1230 KO, maximum 6 games

Package B: SKY Saturday 1730 KO, maximum 6 games

Package C: SKY Saturday 1945 KO, Sunday 1400 KO, maximum 5 games

Package D: SKY Sunday 1630 KO, maximum 5 games

Package E: SKY Friday 1930-2000 KO, Sunday 1400 KO, Monday 2000 KO, maximum 5 games

Package F: Amazon 1 Bank Holiday (Boxing Day 2019) & 1 midweek (3-5 December 2019).

Package G: BT 2 Midweeks (New Years Day 2020 & 21-22 January 2020) & the winter break (8 or 15 February 2020).

This means so far, Norwich home is package E, Everton home & Leicester home is package F & Sheff Utd home, Wolves & Norwich away are package G.

The usual suspects to be the Saturday 1500 KOs, like Brighton, Watford, Palace, Burnley, Bournemouth.  Only 5 if we get the maximum number of TV games like we did in 2018/19.

Does that Amazon package mean they have to show all 10 games on Boxing Day itself, or can they be moved to different days?

Who knows - they usually move some to the night of the 27th but then there is a full set of games on the 28th so some of them would then need to move

On Boxing Day there will be a dinnertime, a half five and an eight o'clock though

12 Sunday was usually for Saturday or Monday picks that had to be on the Sunday due to Europe I believe mostly. It was never part of the TV package from my understanding.

Shame that 4pm has slowly become 4.30 by stealth and now could be a permanent thing by the looks of that table. Might not seam like much, but traveling back on a Sunday night by train is always chocka and makes Monday that little bit harder if not getting in till after 11pm after a full day on the beers.

Ah yeah you’re probably right, Sky love a triple header on a Sunday so I doubt they are dead for good. Agree with the 4:30 point, it’s always been 1:30-4pm kickoffs for as long as I’ve been alive. 4:30 just doesn’t feel right

CL the midweek before which means there's a 50/50 chance we'll be playing Wednesday night which I think would rule out Friday night as we won't know the CL fixtures until after they announce the September PL tv schedule. There are internationals midweek after so it can't be Monday night. Hard to say whether it'll be Saturday or Sunday. There aren't any top 6 clashes that weekend so there aren't really any obvious ones being picked out for tv.

So 5 Fri/Mon game? ::) Hoping not many are away, or at least not v far.

Roll on 5th July then....
