Fucking ridiculous and will cause chaos for loads of people. Use some common sense TO, FFS!

It say's only 200 people will be selected.

From reading everywhere it doesn't seem we can sign over any qualifying cards to other people like we could at Augsburg.
Many of us relying on spares like this.

Can go on someone else’s card but will have to provide details when buying tix. Or there will presumably be spares floating from some if those not selected for pick up.

good post & would urge anyone on twitter to raise these issues with TB & the club.

Funny thing is they may in the end decide to swerve it for the fuckin ludicrous idea it is - begs the question - who thinks these things up and rolls with them in the first place without common sense and touch being applied??

We'll see.

Using the words common sense when talking about our ticket office is a non starter.

Stop Complaining about ticket collection, It's quite obvious you'll probably try tout it and you're in anger. Would you expect to drive after work to Madrid? Not really. It's a European Away not a simple domestic game.

Poor fishing trip. However,If you are serious, there are some well known and respected Reds posting about this and have raised valid concerns.
You say Honey? I say Fuck off.

You dont win friends with Salad

There is another option. Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple.

Porto likely got pulled cos of the higher than anticipated allocation and more realistically the ticket cost..the club were committed to the numbers and just wanted shot of em...no great surprise it's been reintroduced as it was in the TO's plans for sure
according to 24/7 I will be scrambling round for tickets on the exchange all season #STH #19awayclub

Lets just hope the whole thing is more organised than the 5-0 league game. Was at the ground 30 minutes before kick off and still stood in the pissing rain ten minutes after kick off.

Nice one Tony. But we still need it to be organised - and inside somewhere given the likelihood of rain!!

So we have to provide passport numbers?? ::) FFS! It will be UEFA's fault!!

I'm sure there's a away end ticket office next to the away turnstiles. Only problem is you normally have to go thru security checks to get to that area

Excellent move by the ticket office. Maybe a leaflet with the message that it is not permitted to walk down the road and sell the ticket on would be the ultimate measure.
It’s not even about individuality, it’s about the team. Our game was based on his controlling of the tempo. Squeeze the life out of the opposition and then strike. That is our game. Like a pack of pythons.

Yes that is correct, I had to do exactly that 2 seasons ago.

Seems a bit daft to have a collection in Manchester for this game. I expect people will have been pleased to save holidays and would have intended to go straight from work.

It's completely ridiculous. People are now going to have book half a days holiday to collect a ticket. Seriously passport number, travel dates for a trip to Manchester 35 miles away. It's about some of the idiots running the ticket office got a Fucking grip and while their at it tell us what's going in relation to the 75 Euro Porto tickets.

Not the TO's fault that we have to put in stupid details before we can buy tickets. It's a UEFA requirement. That being said, not a clever idea to have nearly 3,000 supporters scrambling to pick up tickets at the Etihad before the match. Its gonna be nothing but chaos. I bet the TO will announce that they've abandoned the stupid idea of collection in Manchester.

Fair enough it's a UEFA rule, no reason why the club can't store the first 6 fields instead of having to fill this out every time & pre fill the remaining 4 fields for UK Supporters on this occassion. They seem to go out their way to Fuck people off at times.

We haven't bought an away euro ticket since the web revamp they may have done something. Just needs a checkbox to say card holder is using their own ticket...else enter persons details. Like shipping address is same as billing address checkbox.

I doubt they will have changed it tho.

put your details and if your mate ends up going write a letter for him to explain the situation and give him all the relavant details he will need for the ticket collection, the TO should be understanding and comprehensive if he has all correct details, you could send them an e-mail asap so they are prepared incase - YNWA !

Monday to Thursday that week engineering works.

Ta mate - I'll have to drive for this one then.

Anyone know any decent safe car parks (not too bothered on the cost for a one-off) that's relatively near and relatively OK for getting back onto M6?

There's a few off Ashton Old Road. Bit of a queue getting back to the ring road after but you'll get that anywhere around there.

Bottom is best at City I always think. Top is like being on the moon! Plus it's wider at the bottom of the away end so more of ours around you.

The bottom is the narrowest. The 2 blocks in the lower are really narrow. in 2nd tier you have 3 blocks. And 3rd you have 2 blocks again but they widen out as it goes up the stadium.

Thats the plan from the league game. assume will be similar based on allocation.
