Maybe the money won't be shoved our way after all

I'm a massive Lewandowski fan but he's not what Real need, nor is Kane for that matter in my opinion, though I certainly was expecting them to bid massive money for him. They need pace and loads of it. They're so one paced now.

My wish list for them would be

That's my wish list for then too except instead of De Kane they go for De Salah, De Firmino or De Mane.

Also thanks for giving me a laugh on the way to work with De Kane and De Hazard.

I reckon Pochettino is nailed on to become the next Real Madrid manager. Perfect club for a Barca hater.

when you're having a bad day at finishing, but can come up with that assist, it's a pretty good sign. His rivals for best right now are Suarez (who's been worse recently, in a better team), Lewa (around same level, but in a weaker league, and playing for the league's dominant side), Cavani (not on kane's level), Griezmann (again, not done enough), and Aguero (much better team, and I think Kane is better outside the box).

Yet not one of these top names come close to what Firmino brings to us. Mad isn't it? Not suggesting he's the best striker in the world but he must be one of the most complete. Plus if we are using Griezmann surely Salah gets a shout as well?

Kane's top 3 for sure but he isn't in the same bracket as Suarez among the no.9s going currently. The difference is Suarez's ability to fashion chances for himself out of nothing. None of the other top strikers do that to the same extent and certainly not Kane. Suarez has become less capable and more of a pure finisher with age taking the edge off his ability but even with that he still can and does create chances out of nothing in a way none of the others do. I think Kane is fantastic but he is getting a little overrated at the moment.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

Actually, I meant our Egyptian fella. He has more assists than Kane, I believe? Mo Salah as a striker and  Firmino as a second striker behind him?

That was a lovely goal yesterday as Kane must have eyes on the back of his head to see that cross was on as he ran out to the sidelines and even then that was not an easy header. While it pains me its nice to watch them and city to play now n then on TV as you have to bribe me to waste an afternoon watching Utd droll out their shyte.

Technically they have already, they beat the reigning champions Real Madrid. They beat them.
If he's being asked to head the ball too frequently - which isn't exactly his specialty - it could affect his ear and cause an infection. Especially if the ball hits him on the ear directly.

I still think Juventus will get through. Dybala is back and scored a great goal yesterday, he's capable of turning the tie round on his own. Matuidi being back in midfield will ensure they aren't dominated like before as well. Got quite a bit of confidence in them.

5/2 Juventus win seems a bit long, esp as they should be feeling good after how they beat lazio and Roma beating Napoli should ease their fears for the scudetto

I think they will be just as concerned with Kane / Son. Dybala great player though. I think it wouldn't be a surprise if either team went through, really is finely balanced.
