Yeah it could get tighter up there for position 3 and 4 if BVB and Die Werkself can put runs together. Dortmund v Leverkusen last game of the season might be a little nerve racking if they are both up there with a chance. Interesting to say the least.

Not sure many clubs will be queueing up to give Terzic a crack at it after they’ve barely been a European standard club with him at the helm when he’s got Haaland and Sancho.

he doesn't want  a crack, he is going back his job as assistant at Dortmund next season, as planned.

Definitely a Buvac, rather than a Klopp. In saying that Dortmund have been premature in appointing Rose I think. Not convinced he’s that good.

I have no clue if he’s that good. But I am sure they are looking at his overall reacord rather than just this season! Last season was excellent, and even this one has had a few high points. It all went off the rails though.

Regardless, Dortmund have to settle in with a coach for a while now and give him the time, the revolving door isn’t helping anyone.

Oliver Glasner is going to be a coach a few teams will be sniffing around in the summer I suspect, hopefully he stays with Wolfsburg one more year if they are in the CL.

Him and Weghorst I suspect would go under the radar this year as well. Would be excellent for Wolfsburg to keep them and strengthen their squad a bit more for the CL campaign.

Youssoufa Moukoko out for the season with a foot ligament injury. Hopefully nothing too bad, looks like and immense talent and could have a big season next year.

Just had a look at Schalke, & fuckin hell, they're completely fucked, in a worse mess than Leeds, when Leeds went belly up, have a shit load of debt, certain of relegation[need to make up 13 points from 21 available just to make relegation playoffs, providing the 2 teams above them drop 13 points from 21 available too], & are on there 5th head coach in less than a year. :o

It's mad. Schalke are gone. They have won one game all season and conceded 71 goals - 47 is the next worst defence after them. The Bundesliga 2 is a hard division to bounce back from, as we've seen with our own Championship.

Hannover are lower midtable, Dusseldorf are off the pace, Nurnberg are closer to relegation that promotion - there's some really historic teams and recent Bundesliga teams struggling in there. Even Hamburg are not a certainty to come up, with Bochum setting the pace and Greuther Furth and Holstein Kiel breathing down their necks. Could be an awful few years for Schalke which is a shame given the profile of their club.

Their squad isn't exactly packed with saleable assets either.

And it finished 4-3, bad news for Dortmund that!

Bayern get held to a draw at home by FC Union, and RB Leipzig batter Bremen 4-1 away from home. So they aren’t giving up the league yet, although it’s not really likely they can overturn a 5 point gap now.

Dortmund have to be the worst coached team of all the elite teams in Europe.

2-1 up and you allow a 4 on 1 break

One thing he probably would get them is a good result away to Munich. Might not be a great watch but by god he'd get it.

What a fantastic battle between FC Köln and Mainz at the bottom end of the table.

Both teams going for it, both teams blocking shots like crazy, back and fourth all the way through, with the lead changing hands a few times, both teams giving absolutely everything.

Mainz winning it in the 92nd minute with a beautiful finish from Leandro Barreiro to make it 2-3.

Massive 3 points for Mainz  8)

Bo Svensson doing one hell of a job since becoming head coach.

none taken, I thought Mainz where goners too! Still a lot of work to do though, but the turn around is massively positive whatever happens, Bo Svensson looks to be a good coach but also a good motivator, and has the good old Mainz DNA!

As for Union, it’s crazy how well they are doing. No idea what its down too - apart from some obvious factors.
They are an experienced team, a very settled team who don’t have much reliance on youth. They spread the goals around quite well, they just are a well coached solid team.

Don't really get it as it seems like a sideways move with very little to gain.I would see playing with Frankfurt in the CL next season and then maybe looking for a higher profile job as a better prospect than trying to get back into the CL with Mönchengladbach...
