MSN by a mile, though I'd probably put our current three ahead of the Ronaldo/Rooney/Tevez group, which really only lasted a season or so and were outscored by our three last year. Cruyff/Rep/Rensinbrink wasn't bad either.

Inter 99 were running Baggio, Ronaldo, and Zamorano out together, which was probably the best I had seen up to that point.

When did Front Three, as opposed to Two Up Top, become a thing?  Ronaldo-Rivaldo-Ronaldinho was the first I can remember where the three were there as a whole package.

Milan had insane attacking talent in the early 00s but I’m not sure any of them count as a front three as such.  Kaka-Inzaghi-Seedorf or Kaka-Shevchenko-Crespo were decent imo.

Doesn't really matter if we're talking about their ability to score goals and create chances which is what they were good at. Ronaldo [Original] never won the CL but that doesn't make him less of a player.

I thought Sterling Sturridge and Suarez was pretty lethal. If we had been in CL that year we would have done well.

A lot of teams don’t play with 3 up front in the past though.
