hope Palace go down because of last season. And their shit.

But mainly because that face rubbing fraud, deserves to have his "legend" status shown up for what it is.
All the badge kissing in the world don't make up for the fact that they are, frankly, not Liverpool Football Club. It's not their fault. Its just how it is.

Wonder if there are odds available on the Owl being the next PL manager to be fired? I'd be astonished if he's still there at Christmas with that run they have ahead of them. If you compare it to Redknapp at Birmingham, at least they had scored some goals and had points on the board when Harry got the sack; no goals, no points, end of September, fucking hell. I'd like to say I feel sorry for their fans but I really, really don't. A perfect match.

So if they're being consistent, and fair to De Boer, then Hodgson has got two games to save his job right?

United and Chelsea next... :wave

I hear Redknapp is available, all the old guard could get a go this season.

The quotes in the beginning never cease to rile me up.

Hiring him has to be the most shameful thing to have happened in this club, but then again it was the only time we were being run by bankers.

I wish the worst for him, not that I actively wish for his demise but let's just say that when it happens I will smile.

Palace will be relegated and will thoroughly deserve it for the beyond ludicrous sacking of De Boer and the hiring of De Bore...
They have life in them, they have humour, they're arrogant, they're cocky and they're proud. And that's what I want my team to be.

He has two dead rubber games that nobody expects him to get anything from.  That is utopia for the auld fraud.

We'll see what happens after that, but I don't want him sacked by Christmas.  That's too easy.  Let them all suffer a bit first.  See him gone by February - hopefully by then it will be too late.

He's back. Some call him Uncle Hodgson, some call him The Owl, some call him Hodgosaurus - no matter what you call him, you'll always know him certainly as Liverpool's worst ever manager and quite probably (IMO) England's worst ever manager too.

The man who didn't seem to mind too much when his Liverpool team lost to Everton, whose Liverpool team lost at home to Northampton Town, Wolves and Blackpool, took us to the relegation places, alienated the fans and signed some of the worst players to ever pull on the red shirt.

The man who despite his 40 years in management, has NEVER won a trophy outside the mighty Swiss and Scandinavian leagues or finished in the top 5 in the Premier League. His England team were knocked out of Euro 2016 by 133rd in the world ranked Iceland.

It's for all of these reasons and countless others that I find it shocking to see that once again, Roy Hodgson is to be the manager of a Premier League club - how does he keep getting these jobs? I honestly believed that after Euro 2016 I'd never again see his jowls wobbling on my TV screen or hear him flapping his gums as he tries to explain that a 3-0 loss at home is the best result the fans could hope for.

People will argue that Hodgson has a record of keeping smaller teams up, but surely in this era of football, the Crystal Palace hierarchy cannot seriously believe that a 70 year old man with his track record is the way forward for them?

I didn't rate De Boer personally, but are there no other managers out there that Palace could have lured? Harry Redknapp is one just off the top of my head that makes far more sense than the man who once proclaimed that his track record puts him in the same category as Alex Ferguson.  :o

So here's to another season of Hodgson, please, this time, let it be the last.
I think that comparing him to an Owl is very unfair on the Owl

I know the guy you mean, Ray Lewington. Looks like a miserable old bastard with a football philosophy straight out of the Don Revie era in the 70's.

With Benteke now seemingly out for weeks or months, they've got literally no centre forwards in addition to being shit in general and having the worst manager in the league. I honestly think they'll go 8 or 9 games without a single point and I can't see them recovering, even after January, I think they're goners.. but the owl will quit before they do so that he won't stain his err.. glittering legacy with a relegation.
