Did like how his comments about dominating the final 30 minutes followed highlights which showed Fred's shot from range and their corner that led to Salah's goal.

Quite often motd2 can be the better show, less games so more time for analysis, but the pundit pairing was obviously abysmal.

After the nonsense I've been hearing about United 'doing ok' in this game I expected far more from them in the highlights. All I saw was united, yet again, being let off the hook by us.

They did 'ok' only in regards to not conceding a hat full today. With our shooting boots on we absolutely bury them. With their shooting boots on they nick a consolation goal.

I did expect BBC editing to at least make it look like they were in this at some point, but no, even good old Aunty Beeb could manage it.

Jenas made a decant point and at times (for about 10 minutes in each half) they did stop us playing. But the highlights show how many chances we had and how few they had. That's the huge gulf in class and shows how many ways we have of creating chances going forward.

Didn’t think there was anything wrong with what Jenas was saying. There are probably not many ways to beat us but those tactics give United the best chance. They just didn’t have the quality (or cajones in some cases) to execute. And once we bypassed their press after 15 minutes, that chance reduced even further.
