Oh I know I was all over Love winning the Arc but if the ground is soft or good to soft I see this fella beating her. I thought he'd win the derby after all  ;D
You think he’ll be aimed there though? I’d have thought the QEII a much more likely target and they’re too close together to run in both - sure Gosden said QEII the target as well. Also Dettori would be on Enable

The declarations for Juddmonte on Wednesday; Ghayyaith, Lord North, Magical, Kameko, Aspetar and Rose of Kildare. Can’t wait to see Magical tackle Ghayyaith.

Looks a cracker. Interested to see Kameko over 10f, but he couldn’t be facing a stiffer first test over the distance.

Definitely, a red hot 6 runner race without a doubt.

Darain is entered to run against Mogul in the Voltigeur too, so it’ll be interesting to see how he fares with a massive hike in class. None of the horses he’s beat so far have done much at all in their subsequent run.

I do not bet in group races where Ballydoyle are represented

they turn it into a joke with pace setters, team tactics etc. i.e see Derby.  Not good for punters.

it's a lot easier when they aint there (which is rare, sadly)

Yep big jump for Darain, and I didn’t think he was all that impressive last time but you’d imagine there would be more to come.

Edit: just watched Darain’s last run again and it wasn’t as bad as I remembered plus he was giving away 7lbs

The  7pm @ Windsor should be interesting .

Odds on favourite withdrawn so the thing is wide open.  Name any price you want.

I've got a few quid on Hannon's Sri Sene Power and a few pounds on the Stoute horse Solar Cycle.

Should be a cracker

Oh I haven't a clue if he'll be sent there, probably not as Gosden would already have 2 live chances in it. Next year maybe.

Make sure you read the small print on those bonuses, there’s usually a catch, like the amount you have to bet/play through before you can withdraw

Seems legit duvva.  I deposited a ton via debit card (don't need to send off ID) and it says they will match once bets are settled.

This is very generous unless i'm missing something.

Shame we don’t get the Enable clash just yet, can’t really see past Love but there is still potential improvement in the likes of Frankly Darling so it could be closer than Epsom on a fairer track

Just having a look at the York card tomorrow. The Gt Voltigeur doesn’t look the strongest ever. Perhaps Mogul could be too good but I’m looking at taking a chance with the extra distance being in Juan Elcano’s favour and at 20/1 he’s worth a shot ew if there remains 8 runners. Also like the look of Roberto Escobarr over Darain out of the two potential improvers 7/1.

Escobarr is in my tracker. I backed it when it won its Novice race LTO, by Galileo and 3 times the price of Mogul.

Will post more thoughts in the morning

I like Royal Scimitar in the second race. Had a couple of winners out of his previous race including that promising one of Tregonning’s at Goodwood. 5/1 seems fair.

In what probably rivals the Sussex stakes for race of the season so far I’m backing Magical, she’s looks as good if not better than ever so far this season but shan’t be going mad as there’s little between the front 4.

I backed a Cox runner tonight and it ran like a drain. Also Gosden in terrible form.

When I went to York I backed Frankie when he was with Godolphin and it worked out quite well.  They seem to target that track and it still holds true despite change of jockey and trainers wouldn't look past the fave in that race,  Boring I know.

Haggas a little coy about Escobarr.  Says Moore said run him in the Gordon which is a Group 2 so the feedback was encouraging then. I will consider backing Escobarr out of value if nothing else!

Gosden in terrible form, What makes you say that? Palace Pier and Mishriff absolutely dotted up in top races in France at the weekend. He’s about 30% strike rate the last two weeks isn’t he?
Having said that, clearly Frankie went to France as they felt they had big chances in big races compared to what he’s got for York.

I’d say he thinks he’s got a good chance but is concerned about a lack of experience which is fair enough, certainly worth a go at 11/2 (been backed already, there was 7/1 about earlier)

He also has the perfect jockey Marquand who used to ride in Australia and they tend to have a lot of 12f+ races i.e Melbourne Cup so he has alot of experience in long distance races. I have to check ground etc. and see what the opposition is.  I think its going to between the two Galileo's.  O'Brien is in good form over in Ireland today so Mogul respected.

Any running tomorrow?

None tomorrow mate, but on Thursday there is Tinochio in the 2.15 at York, Dancing Vega in the 4.50 at York, Spright in 6.00 at Chester.

Very sweet on Manuela de Vega but couldn't back it against Love.

Saturday at the Curragh there's a horse going in the 5.45 called Caesar's Comet that is going to absolutely hack up someday. Backed him last time he won, had my fingers burnt the last twice but watch his last race and tell me he's not going to piss a handicap with a clearer run.

Have two others for Saturday as well but wouldn't be as keen on them, would like to see if there's any money about for them first.

Miss Amulet in the Lowther too. Haven't been tracking it but it beat a horse I've been backing all season last time out who I think is a serious animal so may have a little cut off that too.

Quite like the Harrington horse in the Oaks but as you say backing against Love doesn’t seem all that sensible.

Will keep an eye out for those others. As mentioned above I really like Roberto Escobarr tomorrow, race seems weaker than usual.

I'm sticking with Kevin Ryan today!  The North Yorks handler is in fine form and runs some nicely bred individuals and some are fancied in the market.  He is clearly targeting this meeting.

2:15: Darvel
2:45: Juan Elcano
4:50: Cairn Island

Not investing a huge  amount but interested to see how these go .

e/w double on Darvel and Cairn Island probably the best idea

It’s a cracking renewal and as good as Ghayyaith has been you can make a case for all the front 4. It’s a long straight at York and he may just set the race up. Really looking forward to it. My money’s with Magical

I've a tenner on the outsider... i think escobarr will run a big race and improve and has the pedigree to win

I don't like these group races especially when O'Brien is present. It's hard to rate .  I prefer to just risk a tenner on Kevin Ryan's

If you look at the Timeform figures it's very tight...

The outsider is rated 128 and Mogul 133.  The outsider is down in class and UP in trip. i expect a big improvement. mogul could improve as well and bie something special.  i dont know...

Escobarr is also another improver/course winner and up in trip should love it.

So I dont want to start backing 2-3 horses in this race. I'd rather risk a bet on the outsider and have more on K Ryan's other horses in the 2yo's races where the risk/reward is greater.

No that’s fair enough, can see your reasoning and Juan Elcano is definitely overpriced.
