Absolute genius.
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

Genuine question is there anyone in world football with similar attributes as he’s by far and away our biggest miss when he’s out the side

He’s perfect for our system, he has the perfect foils in Mane and Salah in our front line- i think they are as close as you can get to a complete attacking trio, the sum is stronger than the individual parts

The closest Brazilian player to Ronaldinho since he's retired in terms of audacity, vision, creativity, cheekyness and playing like he would on the street. No one like Bobby he's irreplaceable.

Shame that Neymar and him played in almost similar position and Brazil will always go with Neynar.

On a separate note, I feel Ox will be a good understudy for Bobby. Have the same kind of game intelligence plus the explosiveness that FIrmino do not have.

I don't know why, when I think of a Brazilian player similar to Firmino, I think of Rivaldo.

That's a lot of similarities in that both operates deep. I think Rivaldo has a better scoring record but rarely played out wide.

Neymar can play on the left with Firmino central in a 4-3-3.  Does anyone know if Brazil do this?

Passes the eye test! The one about team play level without him and with him. There's gazillions of statistics out there to study this but this is the easiest case study.
And just to be clear, there are no other players who pass this test, in terms of impact of with him/without him, just Messj I think

There should be some sort of parental advisory warning on his play this season. This was brilliant but there’s at least one moment like this in every game so far. Don’t all end in goals but it’s an absolute pleasure to watch.
