Very good performance so it's a step in the right direction regardless of the disappointing result. If we can play like that regularly then we should be alright.

The people who are after Rodgers wont agree but that was a pretty decent performance today.

It's a decent performance because it's freaking Norwich mate...

Straightforward for me, the performance was miles better, better shape and Ings offered something we have been missing, a player working the channels, but ultimately its nowhere near acceptable not to win that game.

Patience with Rodgers at the top must be wearing thin.

Coutinho squares that and it's 3 points.

Poor decision making and finishing cost us today.

The Norwich defender/midfielder had split the pass and made Coutinho shoot, you would of hoped our best player could put a one on one away though. Was one of those days, we played them off the park and controlled their counter attacks and then we go and let our selves down from a corner.

Heartbreaking it really is.

He really needed to win that one, took a big risk in starting Sturridge.

It was a better performance, for sure - but they only extends the bad run of results now.

Can't see Rodgers making it out of the next 2-3 games.

We played well and I can't be arsed to debate it

In context it'll mean Rodgers gets more shit but we created more than enough chances to win it

Shape looked way better and it allowed us to control the match and should be used from now on

Coutinho's decision making in the final 3rd is abject

Huge positive to see Sturridge play 60 mins

What is Rodgers doing at the moment to suggest he deserves to be in the job? Our record this year is absolutely pathetic.

Why didn't coutinho pass it!????

Only watched it on a ropey stream but not sure why Milner was still on the pitch.

At least Ings got a goal.

Meh, gonna be a long season.

Moreno by far the best player for us.

Milner was absolutely awful and he can't be allowed near set pieces again. Giving him the Vice Captaincy is looking more and more like a terrible decision.

Coutinho quite poor today which was a shame.

Looking for his big move to Barca. Goals will give him the spotlight.

Incredibly selfish of him. A routine pass to Ings and he converts a simple opportunity.

Absolutely fucking shocking from Coutinho. Shocking. A square ball and we equalise. FOR FUCKES SAKES COUTINHO!!

I don't see how that was rodgers fault, Sturridge should have scored. Milner, Coutinho and Ings should have had another one too. Not like we were outplayed our players didnt take some very good chances and the keeper flaps for the equalizer.

Don't talk sense mate, doesn't go down well here.

This is the sort of result we'd get playing under Rafa at times, the difference is we're coming off the back of a terrible run.

Same old,  same old.

Lots of half decent football up until the final third, but really,  really clueless once we get up there. No real cutting edge. No teams fear our attack anymore.

Then, throw in the customary extremely cheaply conceded goal.

And, it's back next weekend for more of the same.

I've backed Rodgers. But, now, I'm thinking we are slowly seeing that a change could be called for.

After 6 games where it was Hodgson/Houllier football, that was more like Kenny in his second spell.

Created chances, poor finishing and concede from their only chance.

We look alot better with Ings rather than Benteke. Ings looks like Luis Suarez in terms of mobility compared to Benteke.

At times we played some nice stuff, but we are, without doubt, the softest side in the league.  Mentally we're shot, every side are aware that if they give it a go at some point we'll fold.  Mignolet was at fault for the goal, but Coutinho has to put that away, it was ridiculous.

I can't see where the next win is coming from and I'm at a loss on how we change things, the problem is I don't think Rodgers can either.

Player for player, we have a great squad, I genuinely mean that, the problem is getting the best out of them and that's the responsibility of the manager.

A good portion of which has only just become available to the manager, and suddenly we looked better. Regarding today, should Brendan have pulled the kit on himself to finish the chances?

We created far more than we did in previous matches but it's another shit result. 4 league games without a win and yet to score more than one goal in each game we have played. Poor.

Didn't think we'd win before the game anyway. Fucking hell we're shit. Like seriously how many clear cut chances did we create there? 2-3? Absolutely woeful and we don't ever look like scoring more than one.

Only positives from that was sakho and Moreno who was great on that left side. Milner is woeful in the middle of the park.

Another day, another formation, new players - more averageness.

Another poor side come to the fortress and walk away with points.

Coutinho should have scored but so should they.

If Millner is our creative force in the middle we'll struggle. Mignolet is a good shot stopper, but he's shit at the rest. Good to see Daniel get an hour and Moreno had a good game.

But there was nothing out there that suggests to me we are anything but middling.

Really should of been 5-1. Of course their goalie has a worldie against us as usual. Frustrating. It is at least positive to see us with so many chances for once.

Coutinho had almost three days to slot that one past him whilst being clear of any defenders. Sorry, but he made Ruddy look good because that finish was complete rubbish.

I hope people don't even attempt to defend the performance because it won't wash. 5 games in a row without a win, 1 point from the last 3 games, 3 at the back at home to Norwich, boos at the end of the game. It's going to be over for Rodgers pretty soon at this rate.
