I've heard many people talk of how delusional Villa fans were/are. I know some have suggested they are a bigger club than Liverpool. That's one hell of a claim, and one with no shred of evidence to back it up.

I also remember how United's fanbase had outrageous delusions of grandeur and a massive sense of entitlement back in the 70s and 80s when they were utter garbage and even relegated.

Everton, though. It's just the sheer scale of the rampant delusion from so many of them that is staggering. At least United and Villa had European Cups in their trophy cabinets to remind them of their stature in times gone by. What do Everton base their arrogance and delusion on? Anyways, back in 1969 he had a knock on the door when he came home from school one day and there were two fellas stood there.
