I was going to suggest the same, it worked best for the set up we've got in Southport. Made a booking, 9 the first week and then 13 and 12 in subsequent weeks, overall we've probably had about 16 different people over the 3 weeks but it needs that first booking made to get people properly interested.

If people want to do a Liverpool one aswell then I'd be up for it, aslong as it ain't on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday nights!

The surface and goals are sound aswel, think its about 25 quid for the hour which is much cheaper than most places (think spekes new pitches charge 40).

Ok, a couple of people mentioned Hope Uni, and a few have said that Friday is best for them. Any thoughts? Obviously might be a bit short notice to go ahead tomorrow night, but next week might be more realistic.

Just looked on the Hope website and there aren't any astro turf prices listed for the Public. Do you have to be a student to use the astro-turf? Also, do the grass pitches have floodlights?

Sorry for all the questions mate, but how big's the pitch? Would 1/3 of the pitch be enough like?

We play 7 v 7 on it and that seems the best fit. 6 v 6 is ideal too but obviously with more room!

As Keane has just said 7 v 7 is about ideal 8 v 8 can be done aswel. 9 aside would be abit too many, and if theres too few numbers you can move the goals to make the pitch smaller.

And yeh thats a 3rd of the pitch.
