*sigh*

Why do we always play teams AFTER they have just fired their manager?

That's by the by, this has been shite.

The only way that is relevant is that these backstabbers are pleased they got rid of the manager who led them to the title.

Can we just decide? Do we surrender right away, or are we prepared to fight for it? Leicester have won every ball so far. We are dreadful. Wijnaldum just casually gave the ball away and that was 1-0. Of course that shot went in, but where were we on the second? When you go for it like Leicester have, you get the lucky bounces. They win every throw in and every duel. For a reason. I don't know why we have decided to even enter the pitch when no-one is prepared to do the basics.

We are complicit yet again, absolutely complicit, but it's fucking remarkable how yet another team finds another 25% when they come up against us.  I remember Swansea ambling around for 90 minutes the week before they played us, then all of a sudden they are snapping at our heels all game. These Leicester players have barely broken a sweat this year, now look at them.  We obviously do something to let them do this. It can't be coincidence.

I'm also sick of seeing utter donkeys score the goal of their lives against us.

Finally, what the fuck were they doing for 16 days? If it was team bonding then it hasn't worked. They don't look like they give a shit about each other.

Comfortably outplayed to be honest, and they didn't park the bus. Need Origi on at half time, Firmino has been frighteningly anonymous.

All stems back to our unwillingness to invest in the squad. We have a slow defensive midfielder at CB, a slow midfielder at LB. A slow midfielder in MF.....a...a wijnaldum in MF.
An average English player who we've just handed a contract to running about doing nothing.
2 Brazillians up front who impose themselves about as mush as a blade of grass in space.

And i dont know.

Seriouslyfed up with the predictability of it all.

Does Jurgen know that Vardy's main attribute is SPEED ? FFS Lucas should be our last option at CB against Vardy and Leicester.

He's slow as fuck and his heading is questionable to say the least. Also let's get something clear - the only cover EMRE CAN can provide is on a hair magazine.

We're strolling around, arsed about getting stuck in or putting any sort of pressure on them, nonchalant flicks to no one and running into blind alleys. First touch is non-existent to boot.

Get the FUCKIN BALL DOWN on the deck and keep possession for 10 fucking mins then go from there.

Its like a game of tennis just how Leicester like it. Their whole game is hit it anywhere and try to get onto something.

2 things liverpool never ever do.

Win aerial balls or second balls.

Exactly the scraps Leicester look for in a game.

Handing it to them on a plate im afraid. Bullied.

We have been awful but the tone was set in the first 30 seconds. Vardy a nasty challenge on Mane (not he gets him twice - with the front foot and the follow through) Nothing given. Since then they are pulling, pushing and getting away with it all. Thats not letting a game flow.

Vardy is even up to his old tricks pushing and then falling back to get a free kick, then smiling at Lucas.

On the rare occasion we break, they foul, and immediately one of their players stop us taking the free kick. Someone needs to blast the ball at them - its happening every time.

....and how the hell does Drinkwater score that, he hasnt even been able to pass to his own players recently

Twenty seven years and we are further away than ever. Sick of inconsistency and mediocrity. The investment on the field is woefully inadequate for a team that wants to challenge.

Awful. Fair play to everybody who thought these would be a transformed side, because they really are.

Not much redeeming so far. Mignolet has done OK, even though he's conceded two.

Not surprised in the slightest. A bunch of mostly average players and square pegs in round holes... we wont win this game nor will we finish in the top 4 this season.. it is that bad.. I dont care how good Klopp he aint getting much more unless we spend a lot of money on really good talent...

Was he to blame for either goal? Genuine question as I'm not watching

A striker shouldn't be getting a clear run on goal like that. Not unless we've thrown everyone forward and it's the last minute.

It wasn't an individual mistake by him, except not being closer/readier to get goal side of Vardy to interrupt his run starting. But a team with aspirations of finishing top half shouldn't be playing a player with such astonishing physical deficiencies.

It's a clear substitution for half time, bring on Klavan. Klopp really needs to correct his mistake as early as possible. Vardy has run through directly twice, scoring one. He's winning every header and challenge against Lucas too, something Lucas is usually better with.

No positives there. Coutinho taking an age before predictably turning inside on his right and being closed down was more annoying than the Vardy goal.

Horrible abject performance, we're making Leicester look about a hundred times better than they are.

Lallana, Firmino, Matip and Mane seem to be about the only ones actually trying.

Horrible considering how much time we had to get up for this and work out a plan.

Just shows how important Jordan Henderson is to our midfield.

C'mon Redmen, fucking salvage a point here at least, these are shite.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Unforgivable, hope they lose 6-0. This seasons fucked anyway might as well see them humiliated, not fit to wear the shirt.

Would you really be happy to see the team you support lose 6-0?

Can is poor, Lucas is not a centre back, Firminho and Coutinho not in the game. Difficult to take but Leicester are up for it and we are still on vacation.

Quite awful. One could be forgiven for thinking that it is us that is manager-less and battling relegation based on that display.

We are struggling to get on the ball. When we do, we are static again, and forced to just lump it forward. We need speed it up about 100x. Our defending is poor, our positioning is poor, we have no presence in midfield. We desperately need someone to put their foot on the ball and start dictating play. Both Can and Wijnaldum are anonymous. Coutinho and Firmino have been abject. Mane is trying but it's not coming off for him. So many very poor displays all over. Only Lallana has been any good to be honest.

I hope Klopp makes a few changes after the break. I can't see us doing anything different by playing the same way. Something has to give.

Can back in the team, midfield non-existing because of that and the result so far is not surprising at all.
Does Can back give Gini and Lallana the right to just not show up?

Just looking at the body language...absolutely embarassing stuff. Game plan seems to hoof it into the middle. Good idea, as we can't win a header anywhere at the pitch. Was definitely a wise decision to not bring anybody in the winter transfer window, Lucas at the back, Can in midfield and a horribly weak looking bench. Not surprised, same old same old. Klopp is a wonderful coach and manager, just not a miracle worker.
Thank you Stevie! It was a pleasure.

16 days off and we play like this  :no :no

Why Mignolet is still starting matches is beyond me, Lucas as predicted is getting torn a new one by Vardy, Wijnaldum putting in his usual dissapearing act away performance.

This is isn't good enough from the players and Klopp in all honesty.

Are you having a laugh? What exactly has Mignolet done wrong? If anything he's been one of our best players.
Really thought Martin Kelly would make it.

Absolutely atrocious defending, how Lucas still starts at CB for us I'll never know.

Its Lucas fault?  You dickherad.  How many times have any of our glorious front 5 actually touched the ball?  Whats that got to do with Lucas?????  This team without Henderson is just pure ordinary...and thats an understatement.

Where to start?  We just lack any kind of intensity, drive or hunger.  Suppose we shouldn't be surprised, it's classic Liverpool, sides in the bottom half must love playing us.

Hard to single out players but Lucas is really struggling with Vardy.  We'll be better second half but the damage has been done, and Leicester look inspired.

Anyone seen Wijnaldum?

Nah. He's one of those players that people say "keeps the game ticking" or plays a "crucial role" whenever we win.  But itt's very easy to praise players when we're winning. Can, Wijnaldum (and to a far, far lesser extent Henderson) are so uninspiring as midfield options. Can is below average, Wijnaldium is just average, in my opinion.

Pathetic. have we even had one shot? Worst 45 minutes that I have seen.

Leicester were going to be up for this and all I see is a team that have been told that this would be an easy 3 points. Leicester must be so happy to be playing relegation fodder who have no desire to win.

Let's get the 2nd half over as there's no sign of us trying let alone scoring let alone winning.

I get sick of the predictability of our team.........put us against a team that wants to fight and we lie down.

I thought the ref was letting Vardy kick, push and dive his way through the match.

Embarrassing.
