Being a Captain isn't just on the bloody pitch it's off it mainly.

Henderson should be gearing up the players to make sure they're up for teams they should beat even if he is playing or not.

A true Captain has more effect in the training room and off the pitch.

Also don't forget Hendo has played in many of these games against lower place teams and has been totally invisible and had no influence on the pitch whatsoever.

Liverpool FC lack winners and leaders and that's why we fail to beat lower teams. We have the quality.
Been captin is about been on the "bloody" pitch he is the on field general who carries out the orders of the manager n coaching staff . Fair enough off it he has to be extra professional in his life deal with fans interviews etc as a rep of the club .

One Henderson is not a manager or coach and "gearing" up players isnt his or any other captains job when not out on the pitch . Plus if a player is playing for Liverpool and needs to be "geared" up then there is something off . Any good coach can give a player the technical tools , get them fit but they cannot give players heart that comes from within .

If Hendo  did play Monday then fair game in here spout away bout him this is the pre match thread . He didnt play he should exempt from critisism in here . Lallana did play .

We do lack leaders but getting rid of one who puts it in is silly

Not sure if it's justifiable or not but playing with 2 defenders and 8 midfielders and then losing the game does make us look stupid.

Maybe.

Not really relevant though considering TAA was our best player that night and Lallana was fucking dreadful. All for a bit of vocal bashing, but it falls a bit flat when you've played absolutely awfully in a cup semi final and decide to berate a kid who has outshone every single one of his much higher paid and higher rated senior team mates.

Yeh my fault I was talking about in general not that game, I didn't read through.

He was shouting at the player who passed it to Arnold when he was free in space out wide. When Arnold passed him the ball he'd been marked.

Who was the player?

I'm like a dog with a bone,  Funky Gibbons.  Who was he bollocking if it wasn't young Arnold. Everyone I have asked has remembered the incident and said it was Arnold.

Hendo would have done so.

I've noticed we seem to miss him more than any other player when it comes to our overall play.

Maybe that's why he's captain?
Have you seen the win stats with and without hendo?
