You’d have thought a fair few …would love to know the numbers of 13+ on ST waiting list

Sorry for the old man rant ….having double the number of young adults in the Annie Road, albeit a great idea, does alienate and block off tickets for those who weren’t fortunate to be born in the 2000s but did pay money to be on a ST waiting list years ago. Pros and cons I know and I do think it’s the right thing as well for atmosphere etc however that again takes a block of tickets off a certain age demographic that aren’t accessible to some.
On the flip …answering my own questions I guess , they don’t have the chance to join a season ticket waiting list …but do have a great opp of getting to 13+ before some others

Again the lack of clarity regarding actual numbers causes hearsay and rumour and I guess the crux is too many hospo (which by the way if we have a few seasons of mediocrity they will be wanting that waiting list to buy up straight away)

--- Quote from: lfc ---It will also have a new young adult section in the lower tier, behind the goal. It will mean a doubling of the number of tickets available to young supporters in the Anfield Road Stand, with more than a quarter of all seats set aside for younger fans.

How many will this be then? Surely can’t be that many. I’m guessing it’s just a doubling of the official number of children’s seats in the adult/children section. The ones that are rarely for sale… or just all taken in the bulk sales…

--- Quote from: Schmarn on March 14, 2023, 03:36:21 pm ---I wonder if these new hospo tickets will be priced between the cost of a match ticket and the insane £400+ hospo packages. The Reds Bar is the only hospo that is priced considerably cheaper (I think it's around £150 but others will know) and they go within a few hours of going on sale.  They might do something similar in the new AR stand although I'm sure there will also be exorbitant options.

Sadly it's the way of the world and if we aren't going to be bought by sportswashers, this is the reality if we are going to compete.

Must admit I’ve not seen or heard of Reds Bar being on sale for years. Didn’t even know it was still a thing?

For the new stand, hospitality for the season starts at £4,420 plus VAT and goes up to £4,998 plus VAT, so even more than what the Main Stand was when that redevelopment was complete, so you can bet it’ll be an extortionate cost on a game by game basis.

NeoAdjuvant:
The £1.00 increase isn't really an issue if we're honest. Everyone would rather not pay it obviously but even the people who go to all 19 are only getting charged an extra £19.00 so who is arsed really.

Personally - the prices in the Annie from next season are a much bigger issue.

Not sure why TAW and SoS are being slagged off either.
