Perhaps it's eroding because people like you are becoming unrepentantly cynical?

it all goes back to Jerry Maguire and show me the money, if you can cry or show some emotion then do it, you'll be set for life.

I bet Indian Twitter is fully embracing the World Cup repeat. :D

The last hour or so of England’s chase and the super over is up there with the most electrifying sport I’ve ever seen I think. It had absolutely everything. Individual heroics, individual mistakes that will live with players forever. Controversy. The whole super over extra drama.

New Zealand took it all with good grace. I wonder if they can look back with pride or just want to forget all about it!

It's still absolutely ludicrous stuff. Even the other half who has no idea about cricket is glued to it.

Wasn't this on the same time as the Djoker-Fed Wimbledon final last year?

Yep, and despite it being on another tv my father in law still flicked to the tennis with about 10 balls to go. Closest I’ve come to calling him a c*nt!

The mother in law was trying to cook a Sunday roast, put peas in a pan, turned the hob on but forgot to add water and none of us noticed for about half an hour as the dry peas slowly burnt in the pan. :D
