Problem under Rodgers was conceding goals. 4 out of the back 5 still Rodgers signings two years on that can’t be right.

He's not been the best today and he should never have been lobbed by a goalie's throw, sure - but Kane was looking dead certain to score SPurs' third there but Lovren stuck his leg in front of the shot. 35' - Mercifully the last 2' have been spent down on the right wing and we now work it around. Moreno's cross can't find a head and the 2nd ball is fired into a wall of white shirts.

Spurs break, Kane evades 3 but then fires wide.

The logic of Migs running off his line for the 1st? Lovrens mis header on the 2nd. I cant defend them anymore. We could have sent Ward to Huddersfield for the season to get 1st Prem football. Throw the lad in. Neither of our 2 Keepers are good enough.

From a goalie's coach's viewpoint, I'd say MIgs was trying to make up for the fact that Lovren left fresh air for Kane, with Lovren presumably assuming that the offside trap had been sprung (note how he had his hand up immediately) - Gomez should have pushed out properly = marginal decision yes, but goals are sometimes scored on margins of error - and Migs did what a goalie should arguably do in that case - close the gap - Kane is just too damned fast though.....

As a former goalie (or still if 8 a side counts?) and one that has done goalie coaching too I disagree. Yes to him coming out, but certainly not running full pelt to him. There wasnt a chance in hell Migs was getting to him! By all means narrow the angle, but he was in a place he shouldnt have been.

Alli gets a FK for what is shown on the replay to be nothing. No harm done - the ref didn't play advantage to them.
