Bensabaini, quality player too  8)

But still, not sure about Bürki’s positioning, maybe I am being unfair.

Know where you're coming from but think I'd be questioning the lack of closing down a lot more, especially if I was Burki! Defence was crazily deep.

yeah true, the defence was on top of him pretty much.

I am a Bürki fan, cos he’s such a bonkers goalie, so I am all for him not being at fault  ;D

There could be 3 or 4 more goals in this one the way it’s going.

Marcus Thuram is back.

Hes the business.

Brilliant result for Gladbach, one of Europe's most fun sides. Dortmund fall to down to fifth.

How do you have a player scoring at better than a goal a game and sit in 5th? Pathetic from Dortmund really.

What realistic chance to Monchengladbach have against Man City, especially if De Bruyne isn't playing?

so that’s why he scored  ;D

Not much they way they defend (or don’t!!).

Gladbach can play some fantastic stuff, and get some great results like tonight and vs Bayern, but they are also prone to some not so good results, rather inconsistent!

But they also can score for fun, so never say never. But I really can’t see it.

In general if everybody is fit then Gladbach have the players to hurt ManC but then again they haven't all been fit and on the field together in over a year.  They'll be big underdogs either way.

Dortmund are the German Vitesse Arnhem. They're a team of youngsters farmed in to get first team experience before moving onto bigger things.

They at least get to watch some great talent, but it's not geared to win trophies.

There’s a lot of goals flying in today so far.

Watching the Freiburg vs Stuttgart game, a Baden-Schwaben-Derby  ;D  Good game too, Freiburg 2-1 up early in the 2nd half, but it’s all Stuttgart now.

Mainz vs Leipzig is a goal fest, as is Arminia vs Frankfurt.

yeah they paid a fair old fee for him, about 40 mill or so. He never really got going there did he, but seems that loan to Sevilla started getting his career back on track. He’s been great for Frankfurt. Bargain too, sure they only ended up paying 3 or 4 mill for him

Luka Jovic on the scoresheet again, 3rd goal since his return.

Backs to the wall here for Freiburg, 15 mins plus stoppage to go, still 2-1, but Stuttgart have been pushing the whole half.  Fun to see two teams working their backsides off in different ways to try and get the points!

And Mainz baby  ;D  A much needed win, and added bonus beating Leipzig, great for Kloppo’s old player - Bo Svensson! His first win as Mainz coach.

It's really hard to find a #9 who was this consistently good for such a long time. Doesn't look like he's about to stop anytime soon as well.

Good week for Bayern, and they've now stretched to a 7 point lead in the table. Rest of the season will likely go as usual now with Bayern being clear winners by mid to late April.

Already 1-1 in the BVB vs Augsburg game, Delaney equalising André Hahn’s goal.

But I’ve got Union vs Mönchengladbach on, 0-0 so far. Bit scrappy, but Gladbach well on top so far, just not creating enough clear chances.

And then Union take the lead  ::) Great header from a  free kick to be fair!

Goals in ever game apart from the Frankfurt vs Hertha one. Schalke actually leading at half time  :o

Union’s goalie wiped out by his own defender there  :o

Great goal fron Alessane Plea though bring Gladbach back level.

Looks like Sancho is well over his poor start to the season, another goal today.

Here comes Loris Karius.

Sancho has been unplayable today.

He was like that most of last season, which is why Utd were looking at him for north of 100m - but has been off the pace until about 2 weeks ago.  I see Haaland has been infected by Reus' penalty-missatitis as well.

That one he twatted the bar with had some force!

Yeah Sancho is looking gravy again, really rate the lad. I do think there's better value than him out there, but I'd happily spend £70m of another man's money on him.

27 shots, 11 on target, a strong team with the likes of Bailley, Alario, Schick, Belarabi, Demirbay, Tapsoba, Aranguiz, Hradecky starting, brought on Diaby and Wirz from the bench, and Leverkusen are in danger of being knocked out of the DFB Pokal by Regionalliga team Rot-Weiss Essen  :-X

And Leverkusen are out, losing 2-1 after extra time.

So the list of favourites are very much Dortmund and Leipzig now, maybe Gladbach in with a shout, which would be great.

they really dont! Maddening for their fans this. They’d have been rightly dreaming of getting to the final this year.

I would love for Gladbach to win it, but hard to look beyond Dortmund despite their up and down form.

They are up 2-0 already vs Paderborn, Emre Can and Sancho with the goals.
