So the reason we couldn't get our hands on the actual replica keeper shirt is because they were focusing on releasing a range 6 months out of date...

Don't care what the tops look like as long as the home top is Red and all kits have the gold premier league patch on the arms!

Quite like the pinky-red. I think this will do quite well in sales with a younger audience for definite.

Nike & LFC reportedly working on unique throwback designs that go well beyond the current state of “make it kind of look like it did in the 80’s” level of football kits. Potentially bringing back full baggy late 90’s shirts for friendly’s etc. (https://twitter.com/Fckendrick/status/1201458151658151936)

Anyone got any experience getting names and numbers off? I bought a 2017/18 one off eBay because it’s a beautiful shirt. Perfect condition. Slight problem? It has Coutinho on the back. Wasn’t included in the photos but in fairness I would’ve seen had I checked the description.

I’m looking to totally remove it, I’d rather keep it as it is then be left with a faint outline.

Acetone. Use a soft cloth to scrub the letters off and then a toothbrush to remove the faint outline, it takes time, but the numbers will fall right off once you pour acetone on it. And it won't leave a stain of any sort either . Use a hairfan and set it to high and blow it over the traces of any outline and pick at it with a tootbrush.

Great mate, cheers.

Just so I’m clear...

Moisten the letters with Acetone (or should I pour it on as you say?)

Rub them with a cloth or a toothbrush for finer parts

Hair dry and then pick at any leftover outlines with a toothbrush

Mate you could do both,  whatever you feel comfortable with but I poured it over the entire area but in any case you dont have to worry about the stain. The smell goes away pretty quickly once you let it dry

I'd be surprised. The team will be getting pictured in the NB kit during the tournament, including if we win it and lift the cup. That news would drown out the Nike news.

It's not like we can hold a big event and have the team in Nike kit as we're still contracted to NB.

Their best bet is to do it at a time with little other footballing news, so it gets most the headlines. I imagine they may try and use some of the Nike sponsored players in the ads too but not sure what the legalities of them doing so would be (if they use our logo in the ad, even if not on the players gear).
