I'm hoping you might be able to help me with something. I am shortly going to be launching a Kickstarter campaign to try and raise £3000 to get my book - "A Labour of Love - The Craftsman of the Kop" into print.
The Kickstarter is effectively a pre-sale of the book, so people can pledge £10 (or more, in exchange for various perks, including personal dedications and invitations to the book launch) in advance to purchase a first edition when it comes off the presses.
Effectively, I need to try and sell 300 books in advance to bring it to fruition, and I need to do it without any advertising budget. I was hoping that the powers that be at RAWK might allow me to post about it on the forums, but I wanted to get permission before I did. I have been on RAWK for nearly 2 decades as you know, but I don't want to take any liberties and assume it is ok to just post about it without permission.
