The Cross Foxes

I met those who are cross, but zero Foxes

Fav pub there is the Brewery Tap. I blame only myself!

To be fair the barman jumped in saying he drank it himself. It was on tap!

Dead, bleak boozer. I love this sort of pub in Liverpool

If it' the Cross Foxes down from the canal it's a dump, close to where the winos hang out.

Haven't been the Brewery Tap for a few years, wouldn't fancy negotiating those steps after a few.

I'm in Chester for my sins - the town time forgot - and went some old pub

Old pot bellied lout commented on me ordering Strongbow Dark Fruit

Some people love this city but tell you what, thought the Lord Mayor was out of order this time.

Will Uncle Monty be along later on to tuck you in? :D

As someone in IT....

1. People who keep a million tabs open
2. People who misuse technology and then complain it isn't working the way they want it to work rather than the way it was designed to work

 ;) :P

I was on a screenshare with a client the other day who had at least 50 tabs open across 4 Chrome windows. Made my teeth itch. They didn't even hide their unused notification area apps.
If I were a linesman, I would execute defenders who applauded my offsides.

Don't forget the influx of cheap Chinese shite. Bought a shower head less than a week ago and already it's starting to fail on me. Not to mention the items that have a low price but when you click on the actual listing it takes you to a dropdown menu, so that's not that actual price at all.

Ah this fucks me off with all sites, Etsy is bad for it.

Trying to find a reclaimed wood worktop to make a desk out of, a place will list it for £90 but when you look it's for a 3ft top and the 6ft in the drop down is about £300 more.

Found a decent little hotel on Jet2 called 'Sol Apartments', went on Street View, did the local tour and all looked spot on, so booked it. I've now taken a second look and discovered that my hotel is actually called 'Apartmentos Sol' and is nearly 2km away from the first place.

Give your hotels unique names you knobs.

I reckon more and more are smoking again at a younger age. When I was 16-25 (36 now) it felt like loads of a similar age didn't smoke. You'd see some when you went out to bars but not loads. These days it seems loads of that age group do.

When they starting kicking Paypal into touch last year and moving everyone onto getting paid via ebay instead then a lot of private sellers started to leave . Before when you sold something on ebay the money was into paypal instantly whereas now if we sell something then we get the money next day unless it's sold on Friday or Saturday then it will be on a Monday . This has improved as before you could be waiting 2 to 3 days minimum for any money . Personally think the new system is alot better as when you do get your money now it's deducted any fees
On the ebay forum ( Exciting times) then the common theme was that the new system had pushed people getting benefits away from selling as the money is now paid direct into your bank and was more traceable but not sure how true that is

Anyway if any of you want to buy some overpriced shit with crazy high postage let me know and I'll direct you to my ebay shop  :moon

I've sold loads of stuff on ebay over the last 6 months, always starting it at a penny just to see what happens.

Success has been mixed - a spinning bike went for £242, but a standing desk went for a fucking penny.

Hmm I'm 27 and I remember a fair few kids in my school starting smoking at 13/14 to be fair (the hard knocks). And then a fair few of my mates started when we started going to town and that.

I think that weed being more popular than ever hasn't helped with the smoking thing. The mates I have who still smoke basically got hooked on ciggies through smoking weed all the time.
